fall lovin'

sunday me and mads enjoyed some good snuggles and watched football together

she absolutely loves her monkey blanket that grandma and grandpa cliften got her
for her birthday!

i have a one year old going on thirteen.

i swear i totally had a typical teenage girl moment the other day.

i have been trying to get the little stink to try yogurt

for EVER now!

she completely refuses to eat it.

so her dad is eating lunch and trying to find some stuff for mads 

to eat too.

he suggests yogurt, i tell him NO FLIPPING WAY is she going to try yogurt.

he goes to feed her and she takes it perfectly,

she mmmms,

and smiles and LOVES it! 

i couldnt believe it lol!

so she won't listen to her mom.. but anyone else FOR SURE!

this week we also spent some time at the park
mads sure loves those swings and the slide!

friday afternoon we made a very last minute decision to go to fort collins
to a pumpkin patch.
it was BEAUTIFUL in laramie, a perfect fall day...
the closer we got to fort collins the nastier it looked.
once we got there it was just cloudy so we figured it was all going to work out great.
we parked the car and i got in back to fix madyns pig tails.
and both her rubber bands broke!
i was so sad because she looked like such a rag muffin and i wanted her to look cute
in the pictures.
but i guess she still is pretty cute!
she loved checking out the animals...

then we decided that we would go through their corn maze.
but we didn't really think too much about it...
once we got in it was SO super slick and muddy... you could barely walk.
in three words... IT WAS MISERABLE!
madyn was getting restless and we kept getting lost and the corn kept hitting
us in the face... not much fun...
(i was sooo happy that when we left laramie eric fought with me
about bringing real shoes to walk in... my moccasins wouldn't have stood a chance
in that mud!)

sooo i wouldn't necessarily say it was super fun and all that jazz
but it was nice to get out of laramie for a while.
we left the pumpkin patch and went to target:)
so that made me super happy cuz i LOVE target!!!
then we went out to eat at red robin.
when we were headed home we saw these two bucks fighting on the side of the road.
it was pretty fun to sit and watch them fight it out...

saturday was a pretty rough day...

i swear that jetta is going to be the death of us..

it has been hit 3 times within a year.

luckily we weren't in it when we were hit...
