OH Christmas Tree!

sunday was our first time in the new ward!

although madyn was a bit of a stink, so it really didn't go over so great.

monday we put up our christmas tree.

it's kind of funny because Madyn is afraid of it.

i really wanted to practice with my camera and settings with the lights

and she freaks out if we put her by it...

although i was able to get a couple with her next to the tree...

but not quite the photography moments i was looking for lol.

at least our ornaments will stay nicely on the tree... for this year anyways.

we have had such nice weather this week

and have spent some time at the park.

let me tell you this girl LOVES the swings!!!

she freaks out when it's time to go.

this week we pulled out madyn's "silkies" for the first time.

it's an erickson girl family tradition.

all of us have had plenty pairs of these gems!

i have to admit, i did love her in them!

she however thought it was no big deal...

i guess give her a few years.

wednesday i had a little get away to cheyenne.

we had some stuff to return and a few things to buy.

im so grateful for a sweet husband that understands my needs

to get away and just be alone.

i gotta tell you that boy gets me. :)

saturday we went down town for
a free horse and carriage ride.
madyn really didn't know what to think of it all.
but it was still pretty fun!
