week 27: back home!

luckily the nastiness that I adopted while I was in the valley was short lived. 

I was feeling TONS better on Sunday

as long as I stayed laying down and taking it easy.

so I stayed an extra night.

Sunday night me and Mads stopped in to say goodbye to grandma/pa Gillies and Tys.

Madyn was THRILLED to see Tyson.

he is definitely a favorite.

the kiddos are going to miss him soo much when he leaves on his mission. 

Monday... I woke up to the SADDEST text in the universe!

my dad said the roads from Rawlins to Laramie are closed!

I was seriously going to cry!

 I was sooo ready to be home!!!

so I call up my dad all bummed and I'm all are you serious!?!

and the little brat was just kidding!

so I rushed to get ready for the day, packed, and was out of there!

we were soo happy to be back home with Eric!

Madyn was ecstatic!

she sure missed her daddy!

(I think he taught her some dirty tricks too,

 she messes with her bows CONSTANTLY)

Wednesday Madyn had her 6 month appointment with Dr. Smith

let me just say how much we LOVE Elizabeth!!!

she just really is the best!

mad dog's new stats are...

15 pounds 1.5 ounce

and 26.75 inches long.

she also got some more shots, which of course we don't like...

but i got to tell you at the same time I kind of love

because that is the only time she snuggles down on me

and I LOVE IT!!!

this week I worked on Jamie's pictures and i am super happy

with the way they turned out!

I love Maycie's face in ALL of them.

that girl is sooo full of personality!

Friday we were graced with the company of Meeks' family!

and lucky us, they brought us Cafe Rio!

we had such a good night sitting around talking and getting caught up

with each other.

I sure love those kiddos!

but man Paysers is in to EVERYTHING!

but he sure is a cutie! lol :)

saturday we went to Cheyenne...

the poor men in our lives spent a bunch of time in Joanns

but me and megan had a ball!

we spent some time shopping and having fun

and enjoying some good ol Five Guys!

that night we went home and watched Catching Fire

and eating delicious pizza!

and the weekend is just beginning!

love having company!

it makes me sooo completely happy
