welp sunday was stake conference... or as I call it FREE WEEK!
so we watched football!!!
awww football season... my favorite season of the year!
Monday I worked on a craft I wanted madyn to do and
I sanded and stained part of her toddler bed.
man... that is quite the process.
I don't like sanding very much.
I loved how madyn's craft turned out and I think
she had a fun time doing it.
that night we found out that eric's grandpa jess passed away.
it was sad news to hear, but was such a blessing too.
we are just lucky that we got to meet him back in march when we did.

on Tuesday Madyn turned 2 YEARS OLD!

2 years of Madyn!!!
she weighs 25.2 lbs. and is 2 ft 10 1/8 inches tall.

she loves you to "Watch! watch! watch! watch!" every little trick she does.
she has all her teeth in except her 2 year old molars.
she loves to dance and twirl around.
and listen to music.

her favorite toys are her little princess figurines.
she carries them in her purse everywhere.
she is absolutely obsessed with sunglasses!
she loves to jump on the bed and the couch.
she loves to scare the crows out of our yard by chasing them.
she also loves to chase the bunnies around.
she loves anything that has to do with princesses.
she loves balloons.
she hates getting her hair done.
she loves her bow earrings.
she LOVES Minnie mickey Donald and daisy.
she hates nap time.
she likes to get up on back of our couch and lay there.
and throw her toys back there.... it drives me crazy!
she thinks it is absolutely hilarious to burp and fart.
she likes to pretend to take pictures of EVERYTHING.
she is obsessed with stickers.
she absolutely loves suckers.
she loves the movie Despicable Me.
she is very goofy and we love her so!
that morning we woke up and opened presents.
she got a leap pad with a Minnie mouse game. a bow and arrow.
lots of clothes. some movies and glasses.
I think she enjoyed her presents.
after she finished opening she wanted to sit and watch a movie.
and she wouldn't let me do anything else...
but hey I cant complain.
I love that girl so much and she is such a blessing in our lives.
that afternoon we had an appointment to go to.
we were parked on the road and on our way out of the office I threw
my purse in on the passanger side, then went to throw some stuff in on madyn's side.
when I turned around the little stink was GONE! I panicked!
I went out in the road terrified that's where she went, but she wasn't there,
then turned around to check the sidewalk and she wasn't there.
so frantic with cars driving by I ran out again to see if she was in the road.
I was seriously panicked because I was yelling madyn and she wasn't answering
and she was seriously no where in sight.
I thought no one could have snatched her up that quick!
I went around to the other side of the car
and there she was! just hiding her face and giggling like she tricked me good!
on man! scariest experience of my life!!!
that little stink is quite the tease!
the rest of the day she walked around like so...
she honestly never keeps it dull around our house!
brandy, Easton and mark came over for pizza and cake that night.
madyn and Easton played like crazy and had lots of fun.
I think she had a good birthday and was spoiled rotten.
Grandma and Grandpa Erickson got her a new coat and dance mat.
Grandma and Grandpa Gillies got her a baby alive doll, clothes and a dress up Cinderella dress.
the hysell family got her a hippty hop purple dog.
(she absolutely LOVES her puppy! she goes to it - you tired puppy? you hungry puppy?)
money and a card from Grandpa and Grandma Showell.
a card and stickers from Grandma and Grandpa Cliften.
and a card from Great Grandpa and Grandma Gillies.
and a baby and frozen wand from Mark, Brandy and Easton.
Wednesday it was like the terrible twos hit full force and HARD!
she was tantrum throwing, throwing things and being naughty!
she had her two year wellness checkup and this is how we had to go....
I was not going to fight with her anymore.
lol.
Wednesday was very rough...
I want my good little girl back!
that night I finished by growth chart project!
I love it!
we also went on a little walk before I went to young womens
and got to hang out with eric and madyn a bit.
I kinda love the guy a lot!
Thursday didn't get any better with those terrible twos...
it's seriously rough.
we watched Easton that morning
and then had visiting teachers over then went visiting teaching.
I then had a few errands to run over at Walmart to get seriously like 5 things
and I swear it took us an hour and a half because madyn kept freaking out.
and we only made it through half the day without the Cinderella dress.
Friday we headed to the valley.
we got there then went over to Jamie's and visited for awhile.
we didn't get to bed till after midnight.
we woke up bright and early to take off for snowville at 7:30.
Jess' funeral was very nice.
it was a great tribute to him.
we got some good family time in.
the only ones that weren't there were Tyson, Easton and Brandy.
we got back into lyman that evening.
while mark and eric watched the Utah/ Oregon game
me, mom and madyn went over to Jamie's and watched pitch perfect 2.
I liked it, thought it was pretty funny.
it was a pretty good week in the books!
