back in the groove...

welp sunday was just another day in the books.

we went to stake conference with mom, dad, megan and the kiddos.

it was such a great meeting. the talks were really wonderful.

and to top it all off we were able to see Elder Oaks talk.

it was a pretty good day.

Monday we headed back to ol laradise!

we took back eric's jeep since it was all finished up.

as soon as we started pulling out of the drive way madyn just started

busting up laughing! she said "goin jeepin!"

despite the long drive with no ac. I think we managed pretty good.

we did stop in Rawlins to have a little break.

we were walking into mcdonalds and madyn was carrying her

little toy camera. well there was an old lady standing outside the door waiting

for her husband and madyn went up to her and goes CHEESE!

she started taking pictures of this old lady!!!

LOL!

she nicely obliged madyn and played along with her.

seriously she kills me!

 when we got home she was absolutely thrilled to see eric.

that night Easton came over and played with madyn for a bit.

tuesday we watched Easton while brandy went in for a doctors appointment.

those two are seriously trouble together!

but they were actually really good and played wonderfully while I cleaned the house.

Wednesday we had lots of stuff and errands to do!

it was actually a really productive day for me.

that night we had to run to Walmart....

and this girl found a pair of glasses.... of course right.

seriously this obsession is real!
 

 

but she rocks them. so I guess I don't blame her!

she even insisted on going to bed with them...

trust me it wasn't worth the fight!

Thursday we woke up and I put Tangled on for her.

at the very first a Wanted picture of Flynn Ryder comes on the screen.
I asked her who's that?!?

she proudly and promptly announced JESUS!!

knocked me speechless. lol.

 later that day Eric had a ceremony to welcome all the new nursing students.
it was from 3:30-6.... but luckily it only lasted till 5.

I sure am proud of eric.
he's going to be awesome in the medical field.
im excited for these next couple of years even though I know
it will be lots of stress and hard work.
but if anyone can do it he can.
brandy was nice enough to babysit for us...
she sure is a brave soul and took our kiddos out to froyo!

that girl sure loves her Easton!
I love that they are such good friends!!
then Thursday and Friday were just another day.
nothing big going on.
however we did go to Walmart on Friday....
and now I have very ill feelings towards the employees of Walmart...

who does that?!?
luckily I was able to stash away not 1 but 2 of these...
the first one I got away with and then madyn found one that
another mom must have stashed...
Saturday morning Eric went up hunting.
me and mads hung out around the house and got some cleaning
and redecorating in.
this is my new wall....

I think I kinda like it.
that afternoon we went to the football season opener.

we unfortunately chose very bad seats...
a guy that was sitting one person down threw up EVERYWHERE!
luckily I didn't see it happen.
at half time madyn was exhausted since she never went
down for a nap...
so I took her home and eric stayed at the game.
 we lost... big shocker...
then since Andrew, hailey and judi were in town
we went out to eat at lovejoys after the game.
and it was stinking delicious!
another good week in the books!
