are you ready for some FOOTBALL!

so sunday bright and early in the morning we took off

to Denver for the season opener.

we stopped in Loveland and had an excellent breakfast at the

Cracker Barrel.

then off to the stadium we were.

it was fun having all the family there.

 

 

 

the opening shenanigans as always

were wonderful!

seriously I had chills!

and then the game started....

it was a hard game.

the first half I got a little ill.

I didn't feel so good and being up so high and looking down

was making me super dizzy!

then it was like I got super tired.

and then to top it off- the team seemed to be struggling

it was a little tough!

but the first half flew by!

I stood up during half time and I started to feel better

after eric went and got us some ice water.

finally after an interception it seemed like the crowd got into

it again and the team started to get their energy back.

oooohhhhh

but it was a nail bitter to the end!

I thought we almost weren't going to make it-

but they pulled it off.

making my winning streak for all the games I have been too going.

we then let the men stay and try to get autographs.

after they were finished with those we headed to Joe's Crab shack

and had a DELICOUS dinner...

seriously SOOO good!

we got home late...

and I have to admit I missed my mads TONS!!!

thankfully brandy kept the pictures coming so that helped!

seriously those two are little stinks together

 

Monday we took off to the valley.
madyn was soooo excited to be at mimi's house!
and to see all her cousins.
she seriously adores them.
she was copying austy's EVERY move!
we also went over to grandma and grandpa gillies' house.
she seriously LOVES her grandma's soooo much.
Tuesday I got my hair cut and colored and had an infusion.
 I was so exhausted all stinking day long!
 when I got my infusion in I immediately fell asleep.
I woke up 2 hours later thinking alrighty im all done....
I looked at the bag and it was still full!
apparently the iv place set the pump wrong. they had
it set to pump 10ml per hour... with a 230ml bag...
luckily we got the pump figured out and had it pumping much faster.
so grateful for carilyn and tony for watching madyn while I got this all
figured out.
Wednesday I had my consult with Dr. Pickgren for my surgery.
it was the biggest relief of my life!
we were originally told- the prep would be similar to a colonoscopy,
a week in the hospital, and 3-4 month recovery.
only to find out that the prep is only fasting and 1 pill, 2-3 days in the
hospital and a 4-6 week recovery.
I have never been so relieved.
I have been stressed about this surgery and now
I don't even have a worry.
talk about a huge tender mercy from my Heavenly Father.
after we went and saw grandma and grandpa cliften.
micah and her family also dropped by.
 that night mom let madyn open her birthday present from her and papa.
she got the CUTEST coat and dance mat.
she was pretty excited!

Thursday we took off to head back to ol laradise!
madyn was soooo excited to be home!
we turned onto our road and she started laughing hysterically
and saying "daddy! daddy! daddy!"
that night we went to our ward party and then
home to watch some football!
Friday we got the house all back in order after
being gone and having company.
there isn't much that makes me happier then a clean house!!!
 Saturday I got the car all nice and vacuumed out.
I would say it was a pretty good week overall.
