ol laradise with a little sunshine

sunday we had a successful day at church with no

accidents from madyn,

and I thought I finally gave a lesson that I could feel good about.

that night we went over to the park...

but all the parks in Laramie are soooo shaded that we ended up FREEZING!

so we didn't stay long.

Monday after we babysat colter I took madyn swimming.

she LOVED it!

it's been awhile since I took her swimming.

she loved the water slide, which was a first for her....

she never liked it before.

she loved to jump off the edge, play ring around the rosies

and sit on the stairs and kick her feet.

after madyn was STARVING and EXHAUSTED!

she ate sooo good and then took a nice long nap...

I thought wow maybe I should take her swimming more often!

Tuesday we had a really rough day....

madyn for some reason just regressed majorly from her potty training.

it was a really hard morning to say the least.

luckily our afternoon went a lot smoother...

I guess you will have those days sometimes.
luckily by the afternoon she was back in full potty swing!
(oh the things I walk into her doing LOL)



she even has started pooping in the potty!!!
WOOOHOOO!!

also can I just say I love how madyn plays with colter!

she makes me excited to have a little one in the future.

I know she will be a great big sister one day.

Thursday was a day full of errands and things to do.

madyn was such a good sport being dragged around town when

all she wanted was to be at home playing with her toys.

the weather was so nice that on our way home we

decided to stop at lepreal park and run some energy out.

after such a long day she fell asleep late in the afternoon...

too late to be taking a nap... but she was just sooo tired I couldn't bear

waking her up!

so I let her sleep a little longer

then I woke her up and we went swimming.

eric doesn't get home till later on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I

figured that would be something that she would love

and could wear her back out so she would sleep at night.

we had a blast swimming.

madyn is seriously a fish.

always go go go!

but unfortunately she didn't go to sleep when we got home

she wasn't tuckered out at all.

so instead I crashed and she watched sofia on the ipad till dad

got home after 11.

Friday was another beautiful day.

eric came home in between class and work and

we went over to rocket fizz to try some sodas and took madyn over to the park.

little miss had fun but was super cranky since she had such

a late night and a pretty early morning.

I tried so hard to take a nap but she just wouldn't budge!

so I decided I needed to do something productive on my to do list

and went to wally world...

and of course

she passed out!

but was wide awake once we got home...

so no rest for this momma!

we had a great rest of the day relaxing and just being together.

I love those type of days!

Saturday we got up and going and took madyn over to

murdochs to see the baby chicks.

she liked them but I thought she was going to be

super excited about them...

but really just thought they were alright.

then we went over to the art museum over at the college.

that was.... ok....

to be honest I think we are running out of things to do in ol laradise.

after we headed over to Washington park and let madyn run

around with Easton.

when we got home we did a few crafts together...

I really thought she would get into the finger painting....

but not so much!

our letter this week is Aa.

or Anna as she says.

I think her favorite project she did was the alligator.

and she was pretty proud of her anna footprint.

later that night we painted our fingers and toes.

she was pretty thrilled.

I don't know how I got such a girly girl on my hands

but I LOVE it:)

all in all it was a wonderful week and we are

LOVING the nice weather!
