I'm soooo proud of my girl this week!
she is starting to tell you when she needs to "make water" or
she just goes into the bathroom and does her thing on her own!
I swear that is the best mom feeling ever!
the weather was sooo beautiful on sunday.
we went on a walk after we got home from church and madyn
fell quickly asleep.
I LOVE when that girl gets a nap....
however she woke up super CRANKY!
but she did eventually come out of it.
Monday it dumped snow.... literally dumped!
so I couldn't resist. I got madyn dressed up as elsa and went
to take her picture....
I literally only got 4 pictures before she freaked out and was done.
it was "too WET!"
which I don't blame her, it was really coming down.
HUGE. WET. FLAKES.
but she did have fun with colter later...
she is super obsessed with giving "checks"
she told him "it's ok bud"
I seriously love how she is with him.
she is really into doc mcstuffins right now.
playing doctor with her never gets old...
maybe I'm speaking to soon.
the rest of the week me and mads just seemed to
keep butting heads.
we had rough trips to Walmart. refusing to use the potty.
major meltdowns. smacking my nose- which may not sound that bad,
oh but it hurts into my teeth when it gets bumped.
I guess being two is hard.... but I think being the mom is harder.
she really makes me question how I'm doing as a mom.
Thursday we had a much better day.
I felt like I could somewhat relax and just go with the flow,
snuggle little colter, play with mads, and still get stuff done.
me and mads made banana bread later that day.
I love her helping out in the kitchen.
she actually really is a big help too.
Friday morning we went swimming together.
we had pretty fun together... but half way through I really
didn't feel good. but I knew there was no way we were getting out
of there without a fit. so we stayed longer.
but we still had a lot of fun.
we came home and after a little playing we both
crashed on the couches.... I really didn't feel good....
that afternoon the Dixon family welcomed their new baby boy into the world!
they had to induce him a few weeks early because he wasn't growing.
luckily he is healthy and everything is good, even with
him being early.
we had a pretty chill night hanging with my two loves.
we are just happy that eric officially is on spring break!
he could definitely use some down time.
don't know anyone who works as hard as him and is still
such an awesome dad and husband.
I love watching those two play together :)
it makes my heart happy!
playing hide and seek.
Saturday eric spent the morning at curt gowdy
shooting bows while me and mads hung around the house.
we even did more 'B' crafts.
my favorite part about learning 'B' is that she learned
the word baptize instead of 'swimming'
:)
then that afternoon him and madyn went back up to
curt gowdy to have dutch oven with mark and brandy's family.
I didn't go because our young women's secretary was getting baptized.
it was a great baptism and she had a lot of support there.
and ended it all with the perfect view.
