hello third trimester.

sunday madyn seemed to be feeling much better then the day before.

thank heavens.

we had a combined meeting with the young men and young women 

and someone from the stake came in to teach us more about family history

and how to go about working on all of it.

i have never really been into family history-

i guess i just figured my grandmas always work on theirs so it's getting taken care of.

but this really made me excited to get on and see what i can do.

 i can definitely feel the spirit of Elijah in our home right now.

monday i went a bit early to go pick up madyn from preschool.

i sat with her while she finished up snack and her teacher came and told

me that a few of her classmates had left early because of a stomach bug going around.

since madyn already had diarrhea Saturday i was hoping we were in the clear.

 we got about half way home when madyn starting complaining about her stomach

hurting and then saying hurry home she was afraid she was going to poop her pants.

luckily we made it home just in time for her to be sick.

guess that stomach bug hadnt quite passed all the way.

tuesday felt like a big milestone was met at our house!

i hit the third trimester!

hallelujah!

i know im probably pretty small but there are seriously some days 

where i feel HUGE!

this kid is taking a toll on me and my body.

tuesday i also kept madyn home just in case she still had some diarrea.

but she had a really good day and seemed to feel much better.

but who am i kidding- i loved spending the day with her and was glad 

we skipped out on school for the day.

wednesday mads went back to school.

i was a little nervous that i would get a call saying she had diarrhea again...

but we luckily made it through the day with no issues. 

thursday was crazy busy running around getting errands done and going to appointments.

i started out the day getting my glucose test done...

i seriously dont know why women complain so much about this-

they obviously never have had to drink the prep for a colonoscopy.

that evening madyn had an open house at preschool.

they had all sorts of stations set up all with different lights and activities.

she really enjoyed going to their "light night"

after we went on a car ride and got ice cream together.

i love spending time with my little tribe.

Saturday we decided to get out of town 

and go see my dad while he was in casper for the weekend for state basketball.

we loved getting to spend a little extra time with him.

he took us out to eat and we got to watch a few games with him.

madyn was devastated when it was time to head home.

she cried and cried until she fell asleep for the drive.

she woke up a little bit outside of laramie and madyn says to me-

mom i sure had fun with your dad today!

she sure cracks me up.
