i love my family.

the week started out so nice.

the weather was beautiful.

we were able to get out of the house and go for some walks.

monday wyoming was hosting a game for the college basketball invitational.

we won so there was another game scheduled for wednesday.

madyn was sooo excited.

she has been trying for the last two or three games to get on the big screen

and at wednesdays game she got on.

it was the highlight of her night.

we were pretty excited because we won Wednesdays game

so we made it to the championship!

that will be played next week and be the best out of three games.

so we are pretty excited because we for sure will get at least one more game played here.

thursday i had an appointment with the baby doct.

measuring good, and heart beat is great.

then that evening i had a relief society dinner to go to.

mads went with me and we had a great time getting out of the house.

when it was all over, they were sweet enough to give mads one of the balloons 

they had used for the decorations.

when we got home she decided that our Christ statue could have it.

she has been so funny lately.

she is starting to put all this knowledge together about life and death and living 

with our Savior again.

the other day we were riding in the car and she tells me,

mom, Jesus had a big job.

so i asked her what his job was.

she said when he made the world. i bet when he was done he just said phew!

or she's been trying to figure the after life out and how we live with Jesus again.

i love how she absorbs what she learns from primary and what we try to teach her here.

friday i was in major need of getting out of the house.

eric got off work/ school early,

so that afternoon we hit up the matinee of Beauty and the Beast.

madyn wasnt too sure about it all....

she was a little on edge, which didnt really suprise me since she cant even get 

through moana right now. 

but there were moments were she absolutely LOVED it.

she died laughing all through Be Our Guest.

shortly after she was out- poor girl was so tired.

but honestly all i can say was i absolutely loved it... eric not so much.
after the movie we walked over to the park so madyn could run around.
we had a great evening walking around the park and all being together.
saturday i headed off to baby shower and madyn and eric took off for a daddy daughter date.
they hit up murdochs and then to the dinosaur museum... madyns favorite of course.
we both got home about the same time so we decided to take off to
curt gowdy so eric could practice shooting his bow.
and of course mads had to take her bow too.

we had the best time walking the course with eric.

until mads fell and her hand landed on a cactus. 

it was pretty sad. she wouldnt let us look at her hand, so we probably

walked around about 10-15 minutes before she would let us look and pull

out all the little spikes.

i felt so bad i didnt realize she had any spikes in her hand... so to let her 

walk around that long broke my heart. 

im sure that was miserable.

after our walk we went and sat down by the lake and tossed rocks in the water.

i love them.
they seriously make my heart happy.
they also put a new playground up at one of the shelters so
we took madyn up there to play for a bit, by the time we got up there
we just figured taking the other entrance in would be just as fast....
yeah, we were wrong....
by the time we made it back to the main road we were practically to Cheyenne.
so we decided just to get dinner while we were over there.
we went out to a new restaurant and had Chinese.
 it was soooo good!
by the time we got back to laramie madyn wanted to go to the park again.
it was sooooo cold out!
but little miss insisted.
i know this may sound silly but i had the BEST day.
it was so nice just being all together with each other.
we have had the best week, and mads and eric have been such troopers with me.
i have been sooo cranky!
and they have put up with a lot.
i sure love them a lot.
