Families Can Be Together FOREVER!

Sunday morning we visited with Tony for a bit
before he took off back home.
we then headed to church....
our little sunbeams were SOOOO wild!
it was kind of a long day.
that night we took a walk over to the park
to let madyn play for a bit.
I got super sick....
so that wasn't very fun.
Monday we relaxed and took it easy.
we also worked on the yard.
I finally got my front gardens planted.
we had to take a quick trip to Walmart to get some more
plants for my back garden
I guess I didn't realize how tired my little stink was....

 

after Walmart we went to the park to play a bit.

Mark, Brandy, and Easton met us there

but it got rainy so we didn't get to spend much time there.

Tuesday we went out and planted the flowers out back.

our back garden seemed to take forever!

there were tons of weeds and old roots to pull out.

little miss is loving our yard and playing outside!

we can't wait for it to warm up more and less rainy so we can spend some

more time out there.

Wednesday my girl had a very runny nose...

I felt so bad for her.

I hate when she doesn't feel good.

her eyes were so droopy and she just looked so sad.

I had some things I needed to go do but I just said screw it and

spent the day loving on my little stinker.

that night she started feeling better so we went outside for a bit.

she colored with her sidewalk chalk and then proceeded to lay down on her pictures

and roll around... hence why she is sooo dirty...

 

 

Thursday we spent our day packing and waiting for eric to get off work.

we had to get the house all together before we left for the valley.

madyn was kind of a stink and wouldn't sleep!

we spent some time playing outside trying to get our plants watered and ready.

and my poppies bloomed!

I was a little sad that they weren't red like the others in the nursery but I am fine

with white ones too.

 

 

 

and I think our lilac bushed are starting to get healthy.

I seriously think that no one even tried to keep up with this yard and trees.

eric finally got off work and we took off about 6:30.

madyn slept the whole way!

it was pretty crazy, she really doesn't sleep well in the car.

we got to the valley about 10.

and then little miss just perked right up.

we spent the night with the gillieses.

Friday we got up and headed down to Utah.

 

 

we had a few errands to run before we went to Micah and Casey's endowment session.

their session was great!

they had lots of love and support and Oquirrh mountain was the perfect place for them!
grandpa was even feeling well enough to join them at the temple.
what a blessing that was.

 

after mom, dad, micah, casey, me, eric, gina, ryan, aly and willy all went out

to eat at Olive Garden.

we waited FOREVER but it was delicious.

 megan and bryan watched madyn for us and that was such a HUGE blessing.
I think she loved playing with her cousins.
we got back into Heber pretty late at night.
and let me tell you, we were EXHAUSTED!
Saturday we got up and going and took off again to the temple.
we took some family pictures of the Coleman family before they went in
and were sealed for eternity.
it was seriously such a good day.

 

 

 

after we had a bbq at their house with all their family and friends.
it was seriously such a great day.
and once again they had tons of love and support.
I think we all figured that Grandpa wouldn't be able to make it
because he would be exhausted from the day before but he made it!
I love seeing him at the temple.
he has always been such a wonderful example to me.
I know how much the church, temple and families mean to him.
I love him sooo much!

I don't think I ever fully understood the parable of the lost sheep
and how great the Shepard's joy would be if he found the 1 lost
until now.
my heart has been soooo full seeing micah and casey come back
to the church and then making these sacred covenants.
im so proud of them.
that night we headed back to stay in the valley.
we were able to visit a bit with Tony before we went down for the night.
I can't stress enough how great of week it was.
seriously perfect in every way!

20 Months!

 we had a good sunday.
it was eric's first sunday with me in sunbeams.
and it went pretty good.
we had a linger longer at church, im not going to lie,
I really loved not having to clean up sunday dinner at my house.
I think madyn has a little boyfriend.
there is a little boy in our ward named Spencer and she is soo cute with him.
she kept going up to him and grabbing his hand and wanting to play
with him.
when we were all finishing up she
ran over to him and hugged him.
it was seriously the cutest thing I have ever seen.
Monday we had a busy day running around.
but I just have to say I love my sweet little girl.
I had to wake her up from her nap to get an appointment,
and that is sooo hard on her, as it is for any child.
but she was just happy as can be.
she is such a blessing to me.
that night eric got home at an actually decent hour.
we were soooo thrilled!
we went to the park and enjoyed the swings.
it was so nice to have him home early!
Thursday it was ABSOLUTELY beautiful outside!
I went out to get some yard work done while mads played around the yard.
but she was a little restless, so we ended up going to
the park to play a little.
we had a fun morning together.
and then it got chilly....
but at least we had the morning.
that night I had a relief society meeting at the church.
I seriously LOVE this ward!
I love that there are people there that I haven't talked to yet
and they will come up to me and talk to me
and know me already by name.
it sure beats being in a ward that asks if you are a visitor
after being there a year.
Friday Madyn turned 20 months!

20 Months of Madyn!

this girl loves to talk, sing, dance and play like a crazy woman!
she loves being outside. our yard has been super fun for her to play in!
she is still obsessed with her movies. Lion King is the choice for this month.
Mickey Mouse is another current favorite.
she loves to wear her shoes.
she loves baby dolls and her kitchen toys.
she's really starting into the fit stage. she throws her head on the floor when she's upset.
she loves to Skype and Facetime.
she's also in a stage when she doesn't want to listen to you she covers or closes her eyes.
  she loves to listen and dance around to Let It Go.
she is a very picky eater! but loves cheese, crackers, rice chex and waffles.
she loves to play with her cousins and friend Spencer.
she hates getting dressed and her hair done in the mornings.
she is absolutely and utterly obsessed with Olaf.
she is a true daddy's girl.
whenever I laugh at something she will quickly turn to me and say "What?!?"
she also really likes to proclaim "I know!" whenever we tell her something.
she is pretty silly and we love her to death!
it was also Tony's birthday on Friday.

Saturday Tony came up for Easton's birthday party.
so we spent most of the day at mark and brandy's visiting until the party started.
little miss had lots of fun playing.

it was a great weekend.
we were all pretty happy to have Tony come down to Laramie for a visit.
another great week in the books!
here's to another one!


mother's day!

sunday was mother's day!

we went to church and sat by grandma and grandpa gillies.

madyn wanted NOTHING to do with me!

in fact she just kicked me right out of my seat.

madyn struggled with church...

so it was a long day.

me and mom went and watched Austy give a talk in primary.

oh my heck I love that girl!

she did such a great job.
that girl is a cutie.
after we went over to the gillies house for Tyson's Skype call.
he looked good and happy.
I can't believe that he has been out almost a year now!
Monday we headed back to Laramie.
it was soooo good to be back home!
madyn was beyond THRILLED to see eric.
Tuesday we took a drive up to the Snowys.
it was a nice ride, we saw TONS of deer and elk.

 

the deer were still super ragged so I didn't get too camera happy.
well eric had a super bad migraine and I was exhausted!
so we headed home,
but it was a really nice drive.
Wednesday we got the house picked up
and everything back in order since we have been gone.
eric started back at work... so we miss him lots!
that night was pretty rough!
madyn has been waking up in the middle of the night
and struggling to get back to sleep.
I have a hard time letting her cry it out because I hate that she
wakes eric up and then he cant get back to sleep.
but I hate going to get her because I don't want her to get in the habit.
sooo that night I caved. but she was WIDE awake!
so we went out and made our bed on the couch and I decided to let her
watch Frozen... yeah that was a bad idea.
she had to get up and sing and dance to every song,
and on the parts she thought was funny she would yell
in my ears- KY! MOM! point, and giggle.
it was pretty cute and funny
but I was trying to go back to bed, so at that moment it really wasn't.
let's just say it was a LONG night...
 Thursday we babysat Easton while mark and brandy went to the movies.
those kiddos crack me up.
they went into madyns room and shut the door,
you could hear them giggling and playing together.
I went in to see how they were doing and madyn yells at me NO!
she pushed me right out the door and slammed it in my face lol.
I think it's a little too early for her to be embarrassed by me,
but hey what do I know!

Saturday we worked out in our yard,
and finally got some flowers to plant in our garden.
I love seeing our little place come together.
it's a pretty good place to call home:)
 later that day we pulled out the 'wubble'
that mom and dad got madyn for easter...
she was a little terrified of it at first
but then ended up LOVING IT!!!
and I have to admit- it was pretty fun!
