...I Believe in Christ So Come What May...

today is a good day :)

i am so grateful for what today stands for.

 and i am so incredibly grateful for my Savior.

I know Christ lives.

I am so grateful for.......

 his atoning sacrifice,

his example,

his love,

and his comfort.

I'm especially grateful that he made it possible for all of us

to return to him again someday.

words really cant express my love for him.

i dont know what kind of person i would be if i didnt understand the atonement.

or if i didnt know that there was someone that ALWAYS knows what i am going through.

i know i dont fully understand the atonement and his sacrifice

but there is one thing that i know for sure

and that is that i am grateful for him and his willingness to pay the price for my sins

this is one of my favorite songs about him

i thought it was pretty appropriate for today.

I stand all amazed at the love Jesus offers me,
Confused at the grace that so fully He proffers me;
I tremble to know that for me He was crucified,
That for me, a sinner, He suffered, He bled and died.

O it is wonderful that He should care for me
  Enough to die for me!

I marvel that He would descend from His throne divine
To rescue a soul so rebellious and proud as mine;
That He should extend His great love unto such as I,
Sufficient to own, to redeem, and to justify.

I think of His hands,
pierced and bleeding to pay the debt,
Such mercy, such love and devotion can I forget?
No, no! I will praise and adore at the mercy seat,
Until at the glorious day I'll kneel at his feet.
