last week madyn started to feel a little warm and started having a runny nose.
one morning I woke up and she had thrown up in her sleep but I just figured
she must have coughed too hard and wasn't a big deal.
but she just still isn't herself.
so sunday her and eric stayed home from church to get some more rest.
but madyn and eric both got too much cabin fever....
so we went out to make a snow man...
but I must say...
madyn was not enthused! at all!

mads kept saying olaf! olaf! olaf!
she's pretty funny.
and yes that is spray paint on our snowman... I couldn't find anything else to use
that we had in our garage lol...
Monday poor mads was still kind of under the weather.
this poor girl can't catch a break.
it was a pretty rough day.
can I just say how much I appreciate my Heavenly Father and his tender mercies.
I was seriously to my breaking point. madyn was freaking out and I had
a messy house and stuff I was trying to get done.
I was frustrated beyond belief. through tears and struggling to get stuff done,
I just thought Heavenly Father I just need to know someone cares.
I don't want to call and complain to someone, I just want someone to call or text me
so that I know that I am loved. well after a while things started to settle down.
poor madyn finally fell asleep on the couch and the house was quiet for a minute.
I realized that I had no idea where my phone was, so I went looking for it.
I plopped down on the loveseat and just played around for a minute.
when I saw that I had a text message opened from earlier, about the time that
I was having my breakdown. madyn must have opened it when
she grabbed my phone. it was just what I needed to read.
I know that Heavenly Father works through others to help one another.
and I am extremely grateful for him.
Tuesday I babysat some kids from our ward for a few hours.
The oldest boy is in my sunbeams class and they also have a little girl
that is just a few months older then Madyn.
Madyn loved having some friends around.
the poor little girl was not adjusting well, she's a big momma's girl,
she would cry for a while then settle down, then start crying again.
we were all in madyn's room playing when she started crying again,
my little stinker just looks at her and started to shush her!
oh my heck I laughed.
but it does make me a little nervous for how she acts in nursery. lol.
later that night we had mark, brandy and Easton over for dinner and
dessert. little miss ended up being a major turd!
Wednesday Madyn turned 19 months!
19 Months of Madyn...
her current movie obsession is tangled and lion king.
she mimics all her movies and sings along to the songs.

she LOVES the itsy bitsy spider. and any action song.
she loves to show where her eyes, ears, mouth, nose, tongue, and teeth are.

she is obsessed with her shoes and wears them any chance she can.
she has started this thing where she will reply to you "i know!".
she loves to crawl behind the couch, and has started to climb on EVERYTHING.
she is the best at picking up her toys and putting them away.
she is our official go-throw-that-away-er.
she likes to sit on the big chairs instead of her high chair during meals.
she loves to twirl around and dance.
I would definitely say her favorite song is Let it Go. she sings it often.
she loves to color, play with her babies and kitchen set.
she is awesome at using a fork and spoon.
she's a champ at blowing her nose.
she loves rice chex and juice.
this girl loves being outside and the swings.
she loves the bath. especially with her otter and shark toy.
madyn is completely head over heels for her dad.
she can do what a monkey, elephant, and snake say/do.
she loves to talk to papa every morning.
after we say our prayers, madyn will fold hers again and whisper/ jabber,
like she's saying her own. it's pretty cute.
she is currently in a stage where she isn't the best sleeper or eater.
but we still love the little stink!
Friday Madyn went in to be screened. she's a perfect little girl!
at least that is what they tell me.... but we already knew that.
all except for her ears.... she failed.
they told me that if she has fluid, or they are infected kids fail....
well since she hasn't been feeling the best I figured I better take her in to get checked...
you guessed it... double ear infections!
poor girl!
Elizabeth said she must be one tough cookie cause she
hasn't acted like her ears were bugging her at all.
im totally not complaining though, she sure gives the best snuggles when she
doesn't feel the best.
Saturday I didn't feel the best, tried going to the women's conference....
yeah that didn't last too long.
that night we all enjoyed just being home and relaxing together.
I kinda love my little family A LOT!
