1st Hair Cut

can I just say how relieved I am?

madyn is finally going to nursery without a fight or a fit.

seriously it is a huge blessing!

she walked right in on sunday and just made herself at home.

I couldn't have been more proud!

later on sunday one of the sweetest girls I know was baptized.

 

 

it was seriously one of the most beautiful baptisms that I have been to.

im so blessed to know this family and call them friends.

the weather so far this week has been BEAUTIFUL!

seriously we couldn't have asked for nicer days.

madyn likes to go outside and walk around our yard.

I love going out and sitting on the porch and watch her explore.

she loves her bubbles and side walk chalk.

Tuesday Madyn had her very first hair cut!

 

 

 my relief society president, amy claflin, cut mads hair for us!

even though mads was pretty freaked out, it was quick, painless and handled it like a champ.

 she sure is growing up right before my eyes.

she makes my heart melt.

she absolutely LOVES the itsy bitsy spider.

and instead of going one two three, she just says twoooo!

she loves to dance and twirl around.

and of course she is obsessed with her movies. she loves to WATCH!!

I love that she calls me ky. it makes me giggle.

she sure is one of a kind.

Wednesday we got SNOW!

tons, and TONS of snow!!!

it was still fairly nice outside, no wind, temp was actually decent

and madyn just wanted to sit on our porch.

I tried to pull her around our yard in the sled but she just wanted to sit.

 

 

that girl loves being outside.

by the way did I mention how much snow we got?!?

cuz it was a LOT!

 Thursday morning I woke up to my little stink shouting

"Let it Go! let it go! let it go!"

I figured it was very fitting with all the snow outside.

nonetheless she makes me smile.

 so Friday and Saturday snow fell

and fell

and fell.

 not sure on the exact amount but around 2 feet is pretty accurate.

eric was busy.

and that is an understatement.

 other then eric being away I completely LOVED the snow.

it was beautiful and fluffy.

and the best part was there was no wind.

that NEVER happens!

all in all I would say it was a pretty good week :)
