Company!

and the sickness continues....

sunday was a very very very long day.

i woke up to missed calls, texts, and voicemails from dad.

jamie was having some sort of allergic reaction the day before and sunday morning i

guess things just got really worse. her eyes were starting to swell and

she was having trouble breathing so the took her to evanston to get checked out.

i don't like when things like this are going on with my family...

it stresses me out big time.

by noon every thing was ok and they were sending her home.

but i still had a very sick husband on my hands.

things were just not getting better with him.

madyn seems to be still somewhat out of sorts...

oye! i want my family back to normal!

eric's fever was at 102, and with 4 blankets and the space heater on him,

he was still not getting warm.

mark and evan came over and gave him a blessing.

45 minutes later his temperature was at 104.5.

YIKES!

urgent care was already closed for the day so it was to the ER we went.

mark and brandy took madyn for us. i felt bad since she had been out of 

sorts, but the graciously watched her anyways.

we spent forever in the ER...

they tested him for flu, strep, and mono.
after 2 and a half hours

all of them came back negative.
but luckily they game him some antibiotics and sent us on our way.
Monday was a complete turn around.
eric's fever had gone down and madyn seemed to be doing somewhat better.
so it looks like we are finally on the mend!!!
we spent a lot of our week playing at the park and having fun outside.

Wednesday we went swimming with Easton and Brandy.
the swimming pool was sooo nice and warm and I
think the kiddos completely wiped us out.
Thursday we found out that eric GOT IN THE NURSING PROGRAM!!!
I cant tell you how excited that news has made us!
that is a huge burden off of our shoulders.
Friday the Meeks family came to Laramie to spend some time with us!
I can't say enough how much I love it when my family comes down!
we had a delicious dinner and hung out the rest of the night.
Saturday Mark, Eric and Scott went to Fort Collins
to do a 3D archery shoot.
So Me, Megs, Brandy and the kids stayed in Laramie and
hung out.
we tried doing an Easter egg hunt at the University but
the parents were crazy!
we walked the whole way through it with 4 kids and didn't get 1 egg
luckily brandy was pretty fast and shared some of Easton's eggs with us.
we hung out the rest of the day then when the boys got back we had some pizza and
the kids played outside.
that night we all dyed easter eggs:)
such a fun week... ya know after the sickness passed.
