Easter!

 

Easter Morning!

we hid the kiddos Easter baskets this year and it was so much fun watching

them search for them:)

 

madyn got a little tent, sleeping bag, fishing pole and a new dress.
later that day we headed up to curt gowdy so the boys
could shoot their bows and the girls could throw the kids an easter hunt.

 

it was such a nice day out!

perfect for an outing.

of course madyn couldn't last long without her movies.

luckily megan has Frozen on her phone.

when we got home we had a lovely dutch oven dinner.

we had mt dew chicken and a pineapple upside down cake.

it was soooo good.

after we ate we decorated our sugar cookies. 

 

I thought they turned out super cute!

and super YUMMY!

we spent the rest of the night relaxing, talking and shooting the

air-nerf-bunny things that we got for the kids.

they were actually pretty legit and fun.

Monday morning our company took off

:(

much to my dismay...

we had such a fun time with them.

madyn slept most of the day away.

she never seems to sleep good when we have company...

I think she gets too excited and just wants to play.

she was fun to watch interact with her cousins,

especially laityn.

she liked to rock her in her car seat and watch her!

that girl makes me happy!

the next couple of days I spent working on my computer.

megan had taken some lifestyle pictures of her kids and wanted me to edit them.

I tell you what, I have one talented sister!

the rest of the week was pretty much same ol same old.

but it was a great week.

one night at dinner eric taught madyn how to do silly faces...

 

 

and I spent my time making madyn some sacrament books.

I am pretty happy with how they turned out

:)

 

 

Saturday we went to Murdoch's and had 25 cent hamburgers.

they were delicious as always.

then we took a little drive up towards vedauwoo.

we got out of the car and did a little hiking around.

 

when we got home we set up madyn's tent that she got for Easter.

she loved it!!!

 

oh man I sure love that little stink!

 later we barbequed and played outside:)

seriously don't I live the best life?!?
