a little bit of a rough one...

sunday we got up and going and needed to get

out of the house.

so we decided to take a ride up to centennial have lunch,

and then ride around in the mountains.

we had a GREAT lunch at the bear tavern. 

then our ride was alright... it was really muddy and we couldnt get

into much because of the snow and mud. 

we saw lots of deer and nothing else. 

when we got home i was sooo tired and was starting to get a headache.

eric, so lovingly, let me take a nap and he took madyn on a walk to the park. 

it was a pretty great sunday being together.

then the week kinda went down hill from there.
me and madyn just seemed to be butting heads.
she is in a MASSIVE tantrum stage.
she gets to a point that she cant calm herself down...
sometimes i dont know about this mom stuff.
i think half the problem was she got really attached to eric over
the weekend and every morning she woke up crying for him :(
tuesday madyn started swim lessons.
we did a mommy and me swim class before but i feel like
this one is already soooo much more beneficial.

even with her loving swimming so much we still had our moments
of struggle... all she wanted was dad.
wednesday mads and easton played around the house a bit.
she seriously loves having friends over...
poor girl needs a sibling so she isnt so lonely.
since it was all sunny outside i and i wasnt babysitting colter i
wanted to get out and play with my camera for a bit...
but this picture completely explains the type of experience that we had...

but we did however get some cute ones of her outside.

i love the first couple of ones because she is belly laughing :)

and seriously dont let that smile fool you...

it was a rough time.

it's because she threw it in the river during a tantrum...

....sigh....

since that shoot obviously didnt work out all that great we went

home and decided to try again inside, without the wind.

after my little cheeser had enough i played around with my camera for a bit.

i love how these turned out.

thursday we had a playdate with her friend katie.
they are seriously the cutest together.
both little princesses.
and i enjoyed snuggling with my sweet colter boy!
he is the happiest little thing
and the best cuddler!

he seriously helps with the baby hunger.
thursday evening we had swimming lessons again.
this go round went ok... better, i think...
oh my heck my kid has attitude. she is seriously 2 going on 14.
i just want to tell her instructors i promise she is a good kid!
that night eric had to go out to study so it was just me and mads at home.
we had the best night together.
we painted fingers and toes.
snuggled. watched doc mcstuffins together...
it was pure bliss, like i had my sweet baby girl back.
friday our good little streak kept going!
so we went and ran errands and even had a lunch date together.

but that afternoon when we got home...

it was pure hell again.

idk if it's because she's tired because she is refusing to nap,

or if she is hungry because she is refusing to eat...

either way... it brings out the worst possible side of her.

luckily my sweet, awesome husband got home not long after and

let me have a nice nap.

that night eric had to leave to go study again.

so i thought maybe we would go on a bike ride to the park

since i had bought a bike trailer earlier.

well the tires on the trailer weren't filled all the way...

and i thought i had gotten them aired up.

the whole time i wanted to die!

i know im out of shape... but cant be that bad.

but we made it to the park and madyn was thrilled to be at

her "castle."

i knew there was NO WAY that i could make it home...

so we called eric for a rescue.

luckily he dropped everything and rushed over...

what a shameful night for me.

saturday we got up and going and decided to try the bike ride again...

this time eric got the trailer tires pumped to the according psi...

and my bike tires to the right psi.

(i didnt realize my bike tires were low too...)

after i had air in my tires there was a HUGE difference on how

i felt. i was sooo relieved it was the tires and not me.

we ended up having the best day!

it was sooo nice outside.

so we hit lepreal park and let mads play for a bit.

then we went over to the prairie rose to have lunch.

when we were done we hit up another park since the weather was sooo nice.

after awhile there, we decided to head over to 

washington park to walk around the park.

i think we all thoroughly enjoyed our day out in the sun...

especially madyn:)

i think we really tuckered the poor girl out...
