Mother's Day!

sunday was MOTHER'S DAY!
it is seriously up there as one of my favorite holidays.
i joke to eric that it is because i dont cook... and he lovingly jokes back
about how i still never cook.
but at least i dont have to feel guilty about not cooking on this day.
madyn sang in sacrament for the first time and did so good.
she was very timid walking up to the front but came skipping back pretty proud of herself
when it was all said and done.
eric made a very delicious dinner and then we took it easy for the rest of the day.
tuesday madyn had her home visit from her preschool to help finish up the year.
she was so excited for ms kim and ms maddy to come to her house.
mads is still doing super good in preschool and they only had good things to report!
which makes this momma very happy.
some great things we learned is that she has super awesome manners.
she is always asking may i? and saying her pleases and thank yous.
she doesnt backtalk or hesitate to do anything when she is asked.
the last thing i loved hearing was that there is an older boy in her class...
that is somewhat of a stinker...
and he LOVES to play with madyn.
her teachers really like that they play together because they feel like
madyn is a really great role model for him.
im super proud of my little miss :)
the rest of the week was spent indoors...

Laramie's annual spring snow hit!
and the false labor started as well...
we met with dr Ewell that morning and he told us with all the pressure
changes that was happening with the storm it was sending women into labor...
so we went home and waited it out.
the rest of the week was pretty frustrating.
since we were stuck inside with the storm it was like I was paying way too close
attention to every contraction and just couldn't get my mind off of it.
we were doing everything we could to make this false labor real.
and long story short... by the end of the week... still no baby.

on a happier... chipper note... this is how little miss left our
christ statue...
well at least we know he's not a BYU fan ;)
