a little bit of a lame week....

sunday we headed back to ol Laramie!

it was a pretty long ride.

madyn didn't sleep a wink and was completely cranky!

 

but let me tell you, it was sure good to be home!
that night we watched the broncos/ patriots game
and it was AWESOME!!!

 

the broncs beat the undefeated patriots in overtime!

Monday we spent the day cleaning the house.

it felt so good to get some deep cleaning in.

I LOVE a freshly clean house!

but unfortunately a nasty cold hit our house!

seriously im sooooo over being sick!

every week since surgery I have had something....

it OVER it!

so Tuesday we were pretty lazy around the house

trying to get feeling better.

madyn has been super out of sorts too!

her eyes have been draining a nasty green/ yellow goobers....

at first I thought it was pink eye but then wasn't quite sure.

wednesday I babysat a baby in our ward.

madyn LOVED him!

but when I asked her if she thought he was cute, she

quickly pronounce NO!

he is! (as she points over to the TV with mickey mouse on it)

but she really did love him!

she snuggled him, brought him toys, laid next to him and shared

her blanket!

that night her eyes started draining really bad.

so I decided it was really time to take her to the doctor.

Thursday morning madyn woke me up by

singing in my ear "do you want to build a snowman?!?"

I seriously laughed so hard.

that afternoon we got madyn into the doctor... lucky it's

just some sort of viral thing. 

the last couple of days eric has been super busy at school

and not home till way late at night so me and mads have just been

taking it easy some more.

that night we laid in bed and she watched mickey mouse on the 

portable dvd player and I watched the office on my laptop.

madyn would hide under the blanket.

she would tell me come in mom!

so I would put my head under and then I would leave

and she would say bye bye mom see ya later!

she's always keeping me on my toes.

Friday we got our family pictures done.

thankfully they went tons better then last time we tried.

it was seriously a beautiful day out.

 

 

 

Saturday we slept in SUPER late.... but it felt really good.

we went to the UW basketball game.

we lost in overtime so that pretty much sucked!

but the little ones sure had fun!

 

 

after the game we went over to Murdoch's so Madyn could

see Santa...

she wasn't a fan at all.

but she did enjoy the candy cane.

 

 

after we went out to eat.

it was a really good day to end a boring week!
