thanksgiving

sunday was dad's birthday!

we got up and going and took off around noon to head to the valley.

I was actually really nervous for the roads because we

have gotten a lot of snow lately. but they were

dry the whole way!

sooooo relieving!

when we reached home everyone came over to

mom and dad's for a party for dad.

we ate a delicious dinner, had him open presents,

pictures with the grandkids, played spin the bottle (the clean version ;),

musical chairs and had cake and ice cream.

it was a pretty good night!

 

 

Monday me and madyn spent some time over at urie.

mads LOVES the kindergarten room!

 

 

she also really enjoyed being in grandma's room with all her kids!

we then went over to dad's shop and had some lunch with him.

then it was about time for my infusion.

carilyn graciously watched madyn for me while I got it done.

when I went to go get her that evening the

sunset was beautiful!!!!

I love Wyoming skies!

 

 

tueday me and mads spent the morning over at the shop
watching poppop work on the truck!
madyn was sooo funny with dad.
she followed him around everywhere and would say
what ya doing pop pop? where you going pop pop?
she never left his side!

 

that afternoon dad had a wrecker call over to Evanston.

so we went with him to get the title in our name and

the sales tax, liscense plates and everything all situated out.

I tell you what it felt good getting all

that taken care of!

madyn was thrilled to go on her first tow call with pop pop!

 

 

se had a good rest of the day working at the shop and

getting things done.

eric and mark came into town that night.

it was nice to have him back!

Wednesday I had an ENT appointment over in Utah.

there was a big storm coming in so we made it really quick.

the big news now is im going to have my tonsils taken out and my

deviated septum fixed.

we got into the storm on our way home but

luckily started to get in front of it by the time we got to the sisters.

Thursday was Thanksgiving!

 

 

we spent this year over with the gillies' family.

it was a crazy day with all those kiddos around!

dinner was absolutely yummy and so was dessert.

 

 

 

that night me and eric got out for a date and went and saw Mocking Jay Part 2.

I LOVED it! I thought it was really good!

Friday eric went up to the mountains with the gillies boys

to get Christmas trees.

he saw lots of animals, I think they had a pretty good time.

 

 

I stayed around the house and got some laundry and cleaning done.

madyn was soooo happy playing.

I think she needed a little alone time.

that afternoon we went out and tried to do some family pictures...

madyn was not having it at all!

oh well I guess!

that night before bed I walked into this...

 

 

eric is seriously the best dad around!

we are sooo lucky to have him in our lives.

 Saturday we woke up and took off to go to heber for bre's baby shower.

the roads weren't very good so we decided to turn around.

eric and the gillies boys made it down to the Utes game and I think

they had a really fun time.

eric said it snowed on them the whole game.

that evening we had everyone over for café rio.

it was delicious!

it was another good week in the gillies books!
