sunday was the primary program in mom and dad's ward.
so abby, rylee and maycie all had parts to say in it.
they did soooo good!
austy and lou also helped little mads get ready!
there is something about grandma's curlers that madyn
absolutely loves!
she seriously makes me laugh!
after sacrament we went and took locky lou's Halloween pictures.
poor girl did NOT want to have pictures done!
but she handled it like a champ.
then micah and her family took off back to Utah.
after lunch I took Jason's family pictures.

after we did Jason's family pictures we went and got megan's family to
do their Halloween pictures.
also can I just say lyman is sooo pretty right now with all the fall colors!
I loved doing megs kids!
payson seriously was cracking me up with his facial expressions.
he was iron man so we kept telling him to look tough.
austy just looked so pretty and little lady bug is as cute as ever!
Monday I had a followup appointment with my surgeon
so madyn got to stay home with grandma gillies.
and let me tell you grandma gillies SPOILS my girl and she loves it!
we hit heber first and did a few Halloween picts of jetters.
he's the best warewolf!
we also went and saw grandma and grandpa cliften.
I have to laugh at grandpa he looks out his binoculars while sitting on the
couch so he still knows the houses being built around the neighborhood.
my appointment went really good.
they felt my stomach... OUCH.... looked at my incision,
said I could still have symptoms for 6 MONTHS! eehhhh!
and ill see them again in December.
I personally think my surgeon is a grump, but he was actually
pleasant at my appointment.
after we did a little shopping and had some dinner at five guys...
I was sick the rest of the night...
I cant tell you how bad that frustrates me.
it's going to be a long 6 months.
Tuesday was a pretty boring day.
it's not really fun to be at the house all day with everyone
at work, you cant go anywhere because you can't lift madyn in the car
and there isn't anything on tv...
madyn did get a good nap in though!
that night we had everyone over for pizza and icecream.
it was a good night.
Wednesday I had lunch with dad and grandma
and did some running around with him.
we also hung out at the shop for a little bit.
that night we went and saw carilyn because they were
headed to st George the next day.
the rest of the night dad and mom had a meeting so I
went over to the hysells house while they carved pumpkins!
then when they were done with their meetings we went over
to the meeks house so mom could pull austyn's tooth!
isn't that the cutest smile ever!
Thursday I tried getting out of my bored funk and cleaned
out dad's closet and did some odds and ends around the house.
that pretty much wiped me out.
I was exhausted.
but we decided to go to the movie together.
we went and saw the intern.
I really enjoyed it.
it was actually really nice to get out of the house.
Friday we had another follow up appointment, this time with the
crohn's doctor. I was put on some new meds and taken off some others.
she told me expect 6 months to a year with symptoms.... geeze
do they ever give good news?!?
abbey meeks watched madyn for me...
and im pretty sure mads had a blast!
especially when she found abbey's rodeo crowns!
we did some shopping and then met up micah and casey
and had dinner.
by the time we finished up Jamie, james and dale
met up with us.
then we headed over to see ol garth brooks!
we were all sooooo super excited!
eeehhh please excuse my double chin....
working on fixing that!
john stockten came out and presented a banner
for most tickets sold for one event.
it was pretty cool.
so the bad part was where we were sitting we were back behind the speakers
so you couldn't hear anything he said... it was
all muffled together.
and some of the songs you couldn't tell what they were till
the chorus.
but all in all it was a good time....
just a titch disappointing.
Saturday was HALLOWEEN!
we did some stuff around the house
and everyone came over for dinner before trick or treating.
me and mads went out to the hysell grandparents with the hysells
mads wasn't too into clayton's decorating...
she was pretty freaked out.
plus the little stinker wouldn't wear her headband
and kept smudging her war paint.
once we got back into town
we hit two houses before she was DONE!
so we went home and just had dad take us over
to see grandma Erickson, grandpa Erickson and the potters.
she wasn't happy till we got to potter's house
then she seemed to warm up a bit.
it was a beautiful night.
we are sure lucky to have two good Halloweens in a row!
mads ended the night eating all her candy
and snuggling with her pop pop!
he was soo thrilled that he passed up my mom!
so he told me I could go to bed and he would take care of the rest!
don't I have an awesome dad?!?
