....sick....

so with runny noses and a cough at our house

we decided it would be best if we stayed home from church.

as the day went on I started to feel awful!

but I pounded the vit c and Dayquil.

we had our young women in excellence that

night so I had to set up and decorate.

luckily everyone was taking a nap when I took off so I

didn't leave eric with too big of a mess.

when I got home I was picking up things around the house and

I went back to madyn's room

and there were reeses puffs EVERYWHERE!!!

all over the floor, her bed, EVERYWHERE!

oh the joys of a two year old!

I was soooo tired when I was home but knew

that there wasn't time to get a nap in and have all my

errands done and get back to the church in time for young women in excellence.

by the time ywe was over I was absolutely exhausted!
Monday morning we woke up and I had the WORST sore throat.
I pretty much knew instantly that I had strep.
so me and the kiddos headed over to urgent care to get tested.
let me tell you it was CrAzY!
a sick mom with two very energetic kiddos was rough.
so me and mads tested positive with strep but they treated all three
of us just in case.
we may look happy.... but as for me... I was hurting...

Graysen, mark, and brandy were able to come home from the
hospital. as a precaution to keep Graysen from getting sick we
kept Easton another night.
eric also had a sore throat and his ears were killing him
so we figured he had strep too....
not to mention on sunday I caught madyn walking around using
eric's toothbrush.
so thankfully they medicated him too.
 

those two together crack me up!
I sure love em!
Tuesday eric's clinicals were cancelled so he graciously
took care of me.
my tonsils were now covered in white sores...
it was pretty nasty!
and I was hurting like crazy!
but I do have the cutest little stink to keep my spirits up!
 

I really kind of like her a lot!
Wednesday was another downer...
we hurt and we hurt bad.
not to mention we have been going to bed at like 7 at night.
I was able to get the whole house sanitized though so that was a big win of the day!
Thursday I think was the first day we were finally
feeling somewhat better.
but we still spent the day on the couches and watching movies.

 

she really makes me laugh with her silly personality!
I don't know if my immune system is still way shot from my surgery
or if this case of strep is just really harsh... but it really is kicking our butts.
Friday we were starting to feel pretty better.
it was the first time that week I actually did my hair and makeup.
madyn seemed to be feeling better too...

 eric unfortunately was still feeling under the weather.
I had such bad cabin fever on Friday but the weather was so nasty
outside and so nice and cozy in the house.
Saturday morning I went and did some grocery shopping to
finally get out of the house.
we wanted to be able to head to the valley but the roads weren't
so great so we decided to wait it out another day.
we had a good day relaxing
and then watching the hunger games...
just preparing for the big final movie!
sooo excited for it!
