Sunday morning we woke up at 3 to madyn requesting mickey mouse!
so in a week moment I went into the living room
to turn it on for her....
when she starts flipping out!
so I go over to her and see what she needs.
she kept hitting the couch yelling "Uggle! Uggle! Uggle!"
I couldn't even be upset at that!
I love those sweet snuggles.
but the rest of the night she struggled.....
lets just say it was a long hard night!
sunday she was dressed sooo cute...
well actually im just happy anyday that we get her out of her
dress up clothes!
oh my this little girl is such a spitfire!
during sacrament meeting she decides she doesn't want to
wear her cardigan anymore... or to her, her coat...
she takes it off and tosses it in the air.
it landed on the lady sitting in front of us on her shoulders....
talk about embarrassingly funny.
then we were looking at a book with pictures of jesus.
there was a picture with him holding a little boys hand.
I asked her who is that?!? hoping for jesus to be the response.
when she proudly proclaims TREY!
I just laughed... yeah I guess it did look like trey.
after church we came home and I turn on the bronco game
while we waited for dinner to cook.
they were playing AWFUL so I kept yelling at the tv...
madyn started piping up and yelling at the tv too.
it was soooo funny.
she would wave her arms and just shout all this gibberish
and then end with COME ON BRONCOS!
Monday was the first day I got her hair into two little French braids.
I have been begging her for a month update picture for like a week now
and she absolutely REFUSES to sit where I want her to and smile....
she always gets mad and yells NO PICTURES!
I finally got one.
I kinda like it :)
ive been kinda slacking on her 2 Year Old book.
so my goal is to get my butt in gear
and start working on it again!
that night I was picking up the house when all the sudden it
hit me like a ton of bricks... I felt AWFUL!
so I went to bed early hoping that in the morning I would feel better.
so since we have been home madyn has had a very hard time at night-
getting to bed then sleeping in her bed all through the night.
I woke up with her in my bed
and I said to her "Madyn you really need to start sleeping
in your own bed!" she quickly came back in the most
teasing tone I have ever heard "NO I don't!"
oh boy she keeps me on my toes!
so I was feeling a little better so I got up and going
and by 10 I was totally wiped out and

so I laid down on the couch and we turned
on some movies...
next thing I know madyn is playing with my hair
then putting her cowboy hat on my head and her
sunglasses on me... boy I love that girl!
so throughout the day I just started feeling worse and worse.
I remembered reading a few weeks ago that body aches could be
a symptom of utis and the other day I was thinking that I just didn't
have it kicked all the way.
so I figured I would wait till eric got home from his clinicals in Cheyenne.
but as the day went on I just started feeling worse and worse.
I seriously couldn't take it anymore.
but I was worried about taking madyn with me
since im still not supposed to lift her and if she had a tantrum
then I was out of luck.
so thankfully brandy came and got her so that I could
head over to urgent care.
they did a urine sample but the numbers came back really funky.
he said it could be a few different things like diabetes or dehydration and a
few other things.
so he suggested I that I have a few ivs to help with the dehydration
and do some blood samples to make sure that I didn't
have an infection from surgery.
or I could head over to the hospital and they
would do a ct scan on my abdomen.
soooo I decided the first...
so a few hours later.... being absolutely freezing to death...
1 and a half ivs later and the blood samples came back.
everything looked good so that was relieving that I didn't have an infection
from the surgery.
so he said they were going to culture the urine sample
and treat me for a uti.
they also said that utis can do wacko things do everyone
so that was probably where my body aches were from.
I cant tell you how good it felt to go back home!
Thursday morning I woke up still really sore but doing tons
better then the day before. by the time I took
my second pill of my antibiotic I felt AWESOME!
halleluiah for modern medicine.
right?!?
also isn't she the sweetest sleeper?
Friday we were supposed to do family pictures
but brandy got the call from Colorado Children's Hospital
to take grayson if for his breathing issues.
I already had madyn all dressed up so I could pass up
an opportunity to go out and take some pictures of her!
I couldn't get her to smile at ALL!
but I think her face is beautiful so I love them anyways.
the only time I could catch a smile was when she was being a ham!
oh I love that personality of hers!
that night we took madyn and Easton over to the high school.
they were performing Cinderella.
I was soooo excited to take madyn! I figured she would be thrilled!
and she was!
they had two ten minute intermissions and she HATED them!
she just wanted Cinderella back!!!
I loved watching her and hearing her say WOW! and PRETTY!
Easton did excellent too- they both watched so intently.
when it was all over mads didn't want to leave!
im soooo glad she loved it!
when we got home they both went down like champs!
it was a good night in the books!
the next day the kiddos ate breakfast, bathed and we got
some things done around
the house.
dad, don, Bradley, and Jason were passing through
on their way to Denver so they stopped and we
went over to Perkins to eat.
then me and the kiddos had a very good nap!
they had a good day playing together.
we ended the night watching movies on the floor.
I sure love those kiddos!
