forever and ever.

so for the last 9 or so years
i have had just a silver band on my left middle finger.
i never ever remove it.
had it on there so long that my finger has a little indent in it.

...anyways...
so yesterday was one of the best days everrr.
eric surprised me by taking me to colorado to the beaver mountain ranch resort.

he had a private sleigh ride all set up for us to go on.
it was so windy and cold
but once we got into the trees it was perfect.

we rode into the trees for quite awhile
and they dropped us off at a little cabin.
the cabin had cookies, hot chocolate, hot apple cider and a fire.
in the corner was a little table set up with
candles, chocolates, and sparkling cider.

we went and sat down at the table
there was a window behind me and eric goes
is that a moose!?!
i turned around to look,
then turned back around and he was on his knee
never realized that a short little question would make me sooo happy.

there was a coloring table and all these pictures hung up all around
the cabin from people who had been there before.
so we drew and a picture and hung it up too.

even though it was FREEZING outside
it was so beautiful.

we then got back to laramie and went out to eat
when we got back to my apartment.
and eric had little tea lights all set up in my kitchen.

(please excuse the nastiness of the hair, it was in a beanie all day lol)
we had delicioussss dessert from the altitude.
it was an absolute PERFECT day:) :) :)

so now instead of my little silver band
my hand looks like this:)

just a thought...
im a pretty lucky girl :)

homeward bound.

ever see that movie homeward bound?
ya know with the 2 dogs and a cat.
where they get left at someones house
while the family goes on a vacation
and the dogs and cat decided to find their way home.
and they have all these problems while
getting there???
well a few weeks ago i honestly felt like i was in their position.

i was able to head home for 5 days a few weeks ago
so i could get all caught up with doctor appointments and medications
and all that other crap.
i had the funnest time being with my family.
we went to utah and had lots of fun
planning my upcoming wedding (post soon to come)
i loved being with my nieces and nephews.
they make my heart just melt every time i am with them.
i love my family more then anything.

-favorite quote while being home-
we went to pick up austyn from megans
in laws when we got back into town one night.
poor payson was just soo tired of the car
and was fussing.
megan and austyn get into the car
and my little austyn with her sassy little attitude says
"oh pays, be quiet!"
laughed my butt off.

i was supposed to head back to laramie on monday
but unfortunately enough roads were closed from rawlins to laramie.
they opened up about 4 in the afternoon
but the webcams still looked awful
and my mom and boss didnt want me travelling in that weather.
so i waited to go tuesday.
i got up and the roads were closed once again.
my dad told me to get to rawlins just in case they opened up.
i took a good supply of food and water
and headed out.
i got to rawlins about 11 in the morning and just waited around.
luckily the subway that i parked at had wifi
so i watched hulu so i wouldnt be tooo bored.
i made me a bed in the back of my jeep with the levi
blanket that had been stashed back there since the denver game
me and eric went to.

i napped, watched hulu, played on the computer, and just straight up relaxed.
buttttttt.... unfortunately the roads were still not opening.
luckily another girl from the valley had been travelling back to laramie too
and she had gotten a hotel room.
YAY for not having to sleep in my car lol:)
wednesday morning the roads finally opened and i was able to head home
i never felt sooo happy to get back into laramie.

the roads were still pretty awful.
way worse then this picture can even show.
but i just took it slow
and jammed out to some old destiny's child and toby keith.
man dont i just live the life ;)

just a thought...
what's life without some crazy adventures right?!?

one off the bucketlist.

during eric's mission we decided that with
each letter that we sent we would add one thing that we wanted
to do on our bucket list.
we accomplished one of those in laradise.
ice skating.
we actually did really good.
untillllll......
i lost footing or something or other
and i fell
really hard.....
it hurt
really bad.......
but in all honesty
it was freaking hilarious.
holding eric's hand while iceskating defanitaly
meant that he was coming down with me.
so me and him just laid on the ice for a few minutes and just laughed
our butts off.
i have so much fun with him.
:) :) :)

all i can say is i live a pretty great life:D

just a thought...
dont hold hands while you iceskate...
unless you want to be brought down by your partner
:P
