the big news of the week was HALLOWEEN!
at madyn's preschool they don't celebrate holidays so
they give very specific instructions not to dress up.
so instead they have pajama day.
mads was beyond thrilled to wear her pjs!
Eric had the day off so after madyn headed to school
we binged watched some tv and then headed out for a breakfast date.
we had a few errands to run around town after... needed to get a few last minute
things for madyns costume and then went and picked her up.
we got her school pictures back and I absolutely ADORE them!
when we got home we got her and ty all dressed up and ready to hit the town!
madyn is absolutely obsessed with Ursula from little mermaid right now.
ask me why? I have no idea.
but I like that my little miss is unique and is her own little person.
I mean there aren't many Ursulas roaming around on halloween.
so she was miss wicked sea witch Ursula and ty was a raccoon.
for our ty bug.
I don't know what is wrong with me this year,
but I have always gotten so excited to make cute costumes
but this year I really wasn't into it at all.
but they both looked super cute in my opinion,
even if they weren't in homemade costumes.
we had a pretty fun time out trick or treating.
we hit up the hospital and the children's clinic and after
all that fun Madyn was pretty much over it all.
but we took her over to the university to
play some games and get some candy there.
my Crohn's was out of control so I wasn't much
help with the kids but I think madyn ended up having a lot of fun.
one thing I love about Laramie is there is there are so many things to do
inside on halloween that you really don't have to suffer out in the cold
to do some trick or treating :)
that was pretty much the big goings on for the week.
I sure love those two kiddos.
they are growing up too fast.
especially my little rockstar boy
