company!

well Sunday came and mom had to take off.
talk about breaking my heart!

but I think she was ready to get back home and to her routine.
we were pretty sad to see her go though.
she made our transition to a family of four a lot easier!
we were pretty blessed to have her come stay with us.
ty also lost his umbilical cord so we were pretty excited to give him his first bath.

he handled it like a champ!
didn't fuss at all.
he really is such a great chill baby.

check out the fuzz on those ears!
aren't they the cutest!

Monday I FINALLY took Ty's newborn photos.
I honestly can't believe what a nice mellow baby we have.
we are pretty blessed to have little mr handsome in our lives.

Tuesday was madyn's last day at head start.
this program has been so great for mads.
she really loves her teachers and classmates.

that afternoon I had two pretty cute nappers!
how often do you end up that lucky that both kids decide to take a nap
at the same time :)
especially when one doesn't even nap regularly anymore.

Eric's grad license FINALLY came through so he officially started work
at Ivinson Memorial Hospital.
it was also mine and Eric's anniversary.
tony and carilyn were in town to help me out for our Denver appointment
with ty, so they babysat while we went out
for an anniversary date.
it's kinda crazy that it has been 5 years!
and we have two beautiful children to show for it!

Wednesday me, tony, carilyn, ty and madyn all took off to Denver.
we met with a urologist to discuss Ty's kidney dilation.
he told us that the two main things they check for is reflux and blockage.
luckily he just has narrowing and it isn't blockage.
on a scale of 1 to 3 he's at a 1.
he also told us that 1 in 100 boys have this issue.
and 99% of the time it will correct itself
so we have really good odds.
we will go back in December to make sure that it is getting better.
after his appointment we stopped in Fort Collins to eat and to pick up my new computer.
when we got back to Laramie we went over to the baseball fields to watch
tyson and cortney play a game.
Thursday tony and Carilyn took off and we had Ty's two week appointment.
he is up and past birth weight! 8 lbs!

friday I got my infusion in and lab work done.
Saturday we got more company!
the coleman's stopped by for a few days on their vacation.
we loved having them around.
and little mr never got so much attention!
we had a pretty low key day and just all hung out together.
we finished the day out at the park letting the kiddos run and then finishing
up watching a movie together.

talk about a perfect end to a pretty great week
:)
