in the valley

welp it was a pretty busy week in the valley.

getting a lot done at the shop.

babysitting.

running errands.

visiting everyone.

needless to say we were running constantly.

i had a doctor's appointment in utah on monday.

it was my last visit with dr clark before i have this baby.

we also had one last ultrasound to make sure that his growth and everything is ok.

and he's still our perfect little boy :)

they only had one little concern and that was one of his kidneys is just a tad

dilated more then it should be. 

so he will get that checked out shortly after he is born.

but if i remember correctly, we saw this on our 20 week ultrasound and 

the ultrasound tech told us this was super common with little boys

and it usually just takes care of itself.

either way... im not too concerned.

thursday afternoon me and mom met micah and her kids in evanston 

so we could have them come play with the cousins for the next couple of days.

friday the erickson house was a bit of a mad house with all those kids.

but they all play and get along so well... it's a good mad house.

that evening rylee and abby both had jr jazz games.

we watched abby and then we had an hour break before rylee's game.

and it hit me hard... i was pooped.

poor ry, we didnt make it to her game. i was so tired i was getting sick.

saturday we got up and going and we had a little family easter party.

(ya know, just a week early)

we started out with an easter egg hunt... but had to do it inside since it was raining/ snowing.

we then went and had a very delicious meal back at mom and dads.

it was kind of a miserable day for the rest of the day.

i ATE WAY too much. 

i was sooooo uncomfortable!

but it was fun being with all the family.

and we have really enjoyed our time being home.

CBI Championship

so sunday i walk into little misses room and i see this in her doll house...
oh boy... should i be concerned?

nothing like a barbie hanging from the chandelier to wonder what is going through

your childs mind lol.

she really does make me laugh though.

case and point.

i love that little tush!

this week we stayed busy going over to the AA!

it was a pretty exciting time in Laramie since the CBI championship

was in town.

the championship was a best of three game and since we lost

over in North Carolina we had the final two games in Laramie. 

mads was just thrilled to get lots of popcorn!

the final game on friday was sooooo packed!

and it was a bit of a blow out.

but we still had lots of fun.

i think mads was a bit over it by now lol.

saturday Eric got up bright and early and headed over to fort collins with mark

and they did an archery shoot.

and me and mads headed over to the valley for our long get away.

heaven knew it was going to be a long ride when we werent even 15 minutes outside of laramie

and madyn starts asking are we there yet.

by the time we hit rawlins madyn was convinced that i went the wrong way 

because it was just taking too long!

i think little miss was just a bit overly excited to get to grandmas house.

we had to stop in rock springs so i could get an infusion which made for a nice little break.

and since i usually get super tired dad and rylee met us down there so we could travel 

the rest of the way together. 

mom and dads house was a bit crazy! 

they had the meeks and hysell kids since their parents were in utah 

seeing the lion king.

the kids were having so much fun together.

i love how they are all each others best little friends.

madyn was ecstatic because ry painted her nails for her.

she has such good cousins!

they take the best care of her!
