welp... sunday mark and brandy blessed
baby Graysen in the lyman 2nd ward.
which meant that it was the first day since surgery that I actually
put on make up and did my hair.
I actually felt pretty good most of the day.
and even managed to eat some mashed potatoes.
after having such a good sunday.... I sure felt it Monday.
I hurt BAD.
I ended up sleeping till 2 in the afternoon.
that night we went and saw the hysell girls do their dance recital.
they did AWESOME!
Tuesday we spent a lot of the day
over at the gillies house.
although before we went over I caved and let eric
open up one of his presents.
I think he was pretty happy. I got him a cover for the bed of the truck.
mads was pretty excited to open the present too.

I think this was the first good day that I had.
I was able to eat and eat A LOT!
too bad Wednesday when we woke up it was another rough day.
let me just say...
I AM SOOOO OVER THIS!
the flu bug had caught over at the gillies house
so we stayed over at the Erickson house all day.
we watched movies and relaxed all day.
it was pretty nice.
madyn came up to me and gave me a
big ol kiss on the nose and told me "you're perfect!"
boy I love that girl!
Thursday was Christmas Eve.
the hysell kids and meeks kids were over while
their parents worked on Christmas and finished up at work.
it was a pretty lax day.
that night we went over to the meeks house
for some yummy café rio.
it was sure delicious!
mom made fried icecream....
can I just say all through this recovery I have not
wanted any type of sweets...
but that icecream was DEVINE!
talk about heaven on my throat!
Friday morning we woke up and headed over to the gillies house
to open presents.
madyn got some dress up clothes, books, princess barbies, a Minnie mouse
and daisy tea party toy and an elsa doll.
she was spoiled ROTTEN!
eric even pulled one passed me and surprised me with
a new steamer cleaner.
im sooooo EXCITED!
later that afternoon we were able to Skype with Tyson!
it was sooo good seeing him.
he looks happy and healthy.
that night we watched the Cokeville Miracle then headed to bed.
we were EXHAUSTED!
Saturday was the Erickson family party.
we had a good left over lunch
then let the kiddos open their presents, then the adults.
we then did a dice game for the kids then the adults.
then one adult would team up with a grandkid and
we played tenzi for an envelope.
at the end we opened the envelopes and each one had
a different amount of cash which we would spilt with our kid partner.
we had such a fun day
finished off with a delicious prime rib dinner.
it was great!
and let me tell you we were all exhausted from
our big week!
