back to ol' laradise...

sunday me, carilyn and madyn headed back to Laramie.

it was sooo nice being back home.

we went over to mark and brandy's and had dinner.

carilyn met Graysen for the first time and madyn was thrilled to be around him again!

 

 

Monday madyn had the best day being home!

she played so cutely!

cant you tell how happy she is?!?

 

 

later that night we had everyone over for dinner.

i cant say how happy it feels to actually be home.

I got to go to the bank and walmart and act normal again...

....even though I still do it in my sweats....

Tuesday was a little rough....
good in the sense that it was my first day off of
pain meds WOOOWHOOOO!!!
except for before bed... cause I was a little sore but I'm
still considering it a win.
but I was also sick most of the day...
still trying to be optimistic...
 Wednesday another kinda rough day.
I think im withdrawling from my pain meds....
but I have this little stink to
cheer up my spirits.

 

Thursday I woke up to this.....

 

I really am so grateful to eric for changing her diaper for my

early in the morning...

but this did make me laugh a lot!

so my little funny moment of the day was when

she was playing over by our end tables with her little mickey

and Minnie figurines.

she accidentally knocked over some of my decorations.

she said "Uh-oh! Mickey What did you do?!?"

her little personality keeps me going that is for sure!

 Friday carilyn was sweet enough to babysit madyn for us while

we went on a lunch date.

it felt soooo good to be back and just small

talking with my man.

 Saturday me, mads, and carilyn headed back to the valley.

it was a beautiful day.

we got into the valley right when mom, micah and her girls got into town too.

the girls had soooo much fun playing together!

 

 

 we also went out and took karys Halloween pictures.

 

I think they turned out pretty cute.

she is such a little sweetheart.

recovery...

sunday we got up and got ready to be discharged.

we then took off to micah's house.

mom made a delicious dinner.

homemade chicken noodles and French bread...

it seriously was like the best meal ever!

eric took off to head back to Laramie...

it was really hard to say goodbye to him. he

was such a blessing to me while I was in the hospital.

Monday I spent most of my day sleeping... I was seriously soooo exhausted.

i was also able to go and see grandma and grandpa cliften.

it was nice to get out for a bit.

jett was seriously soooo sweet to me. everytime I would get

up, if I would flinch or walk slowly or act like i was even in an

ounce of pain he would quickly make sure that I was ok.

and little miss locky lou had to keep checking in on my also.

she asked me constantly about surgery and if I was ok.

micah sure has some sweet kids with tender hearts.

Tuesday I actually put on makeup and braided my hair... baby steps!

madyn had soooo much fun being with her cousins!

 

I wasn't ready to leave my mom so I decided to go back to the valley with her.
that evening I was a little worried about madyn because
she started to get a fever.
Wednesday carilyn came and took madyn first thing in the
morning since she was still running a fever.
luckily madyn went back to sleep over there for a few hours
and when she woke up we never had to mess with the fever again.
I went over there in the afternoon to be with my girl and
was able to spend some good time with her.
the meeks later that evening took mads over to their house
to play for a bit but the poor girl was missing her mom....
good thing... I was missing her.
so they brought her back.
 Thursday madyn had soooo much fun at the gillies house.
she loves their dress up clothes.

also tony got a nice bull elk that day!
madyn wasn't too amuzed!!!

she sure is something else!
and I LOVE it!
Friday mom had the day off...
while she was getting ready for the day madyn walked in and
got so excited to see what was in mom's hair.
isn't mimi the best?!?

so I needed a little project.
I had been working on madyn's Halloween costume
over my few days of recovery.
so I wanted to get her pictures done before all the leaves fell.
since the hysells were over we decided to do theirs too.
I actually really like how they turned out...
enjoy...

later that evening Gwen and Deanne brought over the
most DELICOUS meal ever! and soooo many goodies!!!!
it was seriously the sweetest thing ever!
I also got flowers from them and Jessie!
aren't they beautiful!

 

that night mom and dad had a grandkid sleep over.
isn't my austy a cutie!
she got to go to cornbellys and had her face painted!
I sure love her!

the next day we had a good.
we went to Jane and Main and ran some errands.
I had a good day being with mom and the sisters and kiddos.
that night me and dad watched the utes game.

we didn't last too long....
we both only lasted an hour maybe an hour and a half.
but all in all it was a good week and I am so blessed
to be having such a great recovery!
