preschool!

can i just say how lucky i am to have such a great little girl?!?

we were sitting in sacrament meeting and i started feeling super sick-

a bit of crohn's mixed with a lot of lack of sleep....

so after the block was over i told madyn that maybe we should just go home.

but my little miss insisted that she stay at church and go to primary.

sometimes i swear she is the best little example to me :)

monday was miss mads first day of preschool!

poor girl looks pretty nervous huh?!?

and she was... she kept telling me im scared!

so i just kept telling her, that is ok- ill stay with you for a little bit.

once we were in her classroom she said

it's ok, you can go home.

which was actually a HUGE relief to me and made it lots

easier to leave her.

right after preschool was over we had to go straight

to her three year wellness checkup.

poor girl was seriously exhausted.

my little social butterfly didnt want to talk or interact or anything.

tuesday right after preschool i had a doctor's appointment

so tys came over to watch mads for me.

she had soooo much fun with him!

wednesday was the same old, same old.

preschool, dance class and young womens.

by this time of the week me and little miss were

really getting exhausted!

then thursday came... the busiest day of all....

with babysitting, preschool, infusion, appointments, lab work,

taking family pictures.... and the list just kept on going.

luckily by the end of the day we were able to have some down time

at the park with dad!

isnt he the best to her?!?

it was seriously such a rough day but we powered through 

it like champs!

friday luckily was much more chill

just a few more appointments... seriously, when will the lab work end?!?

and another session of family pictures to throw in there.

saturday was our first free day we had with eric in a long time!

no hunting, no work, nothing standing in our way!

so we decided we wanted to go have a picnic, go fishing and let mad's shoot her gun.

i love how this girl loves camping, the mountains and going fishing...

but when it comes to actually handling the fish....

she isn't a fan. lol.

her face seriously kills me!

and can we just take a second to say how nice it was up there?!?

seriously so pretty and perfect weather!

and the best part of it all...

i out fished them all!

i dont think eric was too impressed. lol.

madyn had the best time hanging out with tyson.

i love how she has warmed up to him.

at one point of the day she came over and was sitting by me and 

yelled over to tys- I LOVE YOU TYSON!

after we finished fishing we let mads shoot her gun.

we all enjoyed taking our turns...

it is actually pretty fun to shoot.

but she didnt like it's sound...

so on came the ear plugs and she was much happier.

:)

by the end of the day when we asked her what her favorite part of the day was

she said it was shooting her pink gun!

who can blame her?!? it is pretty awesome!

Madyn turns THREE!

it was a beautiful sunday to start out the week!

mom and dad spent most of the day with us.

dad and er hung out and watched some football 

and me, mom and mads went on a walk.

after we ate lunch together eric had to take off to work and 

we finished watching the denver game together.

after the game mom and dad took off to head home.

madyn was soooo sad to see them go!

but she had a BLAST playing in her jeep that

pop pop soooo generously brought to our house without our knowledge...

in addition to the jeep he brought the hysells old playhouse.

monday i was in need of a project...

so it was time to give that playhouse a good makeover.

i love how it turned out!

it was a pretty big project, but i actually finished it a lot quicker

then i anticipated.

and madyn LOVES it!

for now it stays in the house so we can enjoy it during the

winter months :)

monday we found out that as of thursday (mad's birthday)

madyn could start preschool.

she was over the moon!

she was so excited to "be able to read a book like daniel!"

but that also meant that the rest of the week we were busy

filling out paperwork, meeting the teacher, and visiting the classroom.

thursday was madyn's birthday!

eric had to go cheyenne early so we woke up madyn at 6:30 so

he could watch her open her presents.

she wasnt too excited to get up... until she heard the word presents...

then she jumped up right away!

she was spoiled completely rotten!

we had a good morning together.

it was her day so we let her do what she wanted....

and that was to take a 2 hour bath.

lol.

she was pretty excited to turn 3.

she kept saying throughout the day... IM NOT TWO ANYMORE!!!!

that afternoon we went out and took her three year old pictures.

i love the pictures where she is smushing her face....

i kept telling her smile big!

and she would do that and say I AM!

here we go again!

those poor cheeks were sore from smiling so much i guess!

that evening we had tyson and travis over to have 

dinner, cake and ice cream.

we had her favorite- PANCAKES!

and she wanted a PINK cake.

it wasnt very good... and she didn't hesitate to tell everyone that 

it was yucky lol.

the funny story of the night was when tyson asked her

how many presents she got and she replied- too many....

guess we will know better for next year!

the rest of the week was pretty chill and we didnt have a lot else

going on. 

we are so proud of our little miss independent three year old.

but cant believe she is getting so big!
