A Week With 2 Toddlers

sunday we had a great day at church.

after i had a quick meeting which resulted in not having quite enough time

to cook dinner before eric had to go to work.

we had the most delicious kabobs with such a great sauce.

sunday i spent the day cleaning the house and by the time i finished at night

Easton had come over to stay the night.

 tuesday we got up and going and took the kiddos to curt gowdy 

while eric shot his bow.

while we were there madyn was "too hot!" so the kiddos

and i hung out in the truck most of the time.

after we ran some errands store, car wash, and around town some more.

after easton's nap we went over to hasting's to see if we could take advantage

of any of their "going out of business" sales.

luckily.... not so much.

wednesday night we had to take katie to dance with madyn.

so we had to move madyn and east's carseats together,

i turned around and looked at those two holding hands

i love the little friends that they are to eachother...

even though they fight like siblings.

thursday we decided to take the kiddos up to the snowies for a drive
and go fishing.
those two needed to get out of the house!
we had a nice drive and lunch but by the time we got ready to fish
it started raining, thundering, and lightening.
so that was pretty much it for the day.
friday mark, brandy and graysen made it back from denver
and easton was more then ready to go home.
after they left for home me and mads went out and ran errands around town.
we had some stuff to get done before we had company come into town.
madyn was ecstatic when tony, carilyn and tyson pulled in.
we chatted for a bit and then headed over to tyson's apartment to take
some furniture over.
the rest of the night we came home, ate pizza and then took tyson to campus
to show him around.
we stayed up till eric got home late from work then headed to bed.
saturday i woke up super late... apparently too late that everyone
was already up and gone.
we packed up and loaded the truck
and by the afternoon were headed to baggs.
by the time everything was unloaded it was time to head back home.
we got home about 11 o'clock.
another great, crazy, busy week in the books :)

Back to Reality

sunday my two favorite people got back into town!

i was soooo happy!

church was a bit of a downer- my lesson was a total miss....

so it was good to have something happy happen to lift the downer spirits.

the next couple of days we took it pretty easy.

getting some cleaning done here and there and 

just enjoyed being together as a family again.

later in the week, in hopes that we can get more in shape 

for our medicine bow hike this year

eric decided that we should walk madyn in our pack

over to undine park...

(because we all know that girl refuses to walk)

so he walked her over and we let her play for a bit and then it 

was time to go home.

but of course little miss, miss picky that she is, didnt want dad to carry her.

so i had to pack the little stink!

and let me tell ya, i was and am not prepared to do that!

i swear she about killed me! but we made it.

friday we decided that we wanted to get out of town and go fishing.

so another day at rob roy it was!

it was a pretty great day fishing.

they were biting and snagging like crazy!

we fished for awhile and then headed back to the truck and grilled up some brats.

we had a delicous lunch and then headed to the other side to fish...

and madyn was not happy....

she didn't have her "special rock" to sit on!

she was pretty much over fishing at that point but she hung on for a bit longer.

we werent having that great of luck so we decided we would call it a day...

so i did my traditional countdown to my final casts...

and the last cast I CAUGHT ONE!

i swear idk how i get that lucky.

saturday we had our ward party in the evening.

we had contests for dutch oven and bbq so the food was DELICIOUS!

the plan was to go to curt gowdy but since there was a fire ban in that county

we ended up going over to washington park.

little miss had lots of fun with her friends...

and then it was time to go...

i couldnt help but think her little fit was hilarious!

hiding in her dress and all.

oh boy does that girl keep me on my toes or what?!?
