golf...

so last weekend

i had the weekend off soo

me and eric spent the day together

running various errands

and then later in the evening we went and played golf...

i have never been before.

and to be honest it will probably be the last time i get invited lol.

issue numero uno....

"i am too loud"

i obviously didnt realize that

golf was a quiet sport.

lol

my bad...

problemo numero dos

so i didnt know what FORE meant in golf

apparently for us golf impaired people

the correct definition of fore is...

"hitting the ball toward a group of people or person

and letting them

know by calling out 'fore' so they can be aware and duck."

lol

i had no idea.

all i knew was in movies i saw whenever they were

golfing they would yell fore...

apparently i was missing out on the joke.

so eric would hit the ball.

and i would yell

FORE!

yeah... eric was not to happy lol.

either way it was pretty fun.

and i actually hit a ball in THE AIR!!!

i was pretty proud of myself.

i was just glad we got a cart.

because lets face it

im pretty lazy.

just a thought....

wanna good laugh when golfing

honeymoon.

and then there was the honeymoon.

edited of course. ;)

we were able to have a week full of fun.

on monday night.

we went to a drive in movie.

(another off the bucket list)

tuesday we went to lagoon.

i have to laugh about tuesday....

we went and rode only about 3 rides

when we were both starting to get motion sick.

(sucks gettin older right?!?)

so we headed to the gift shop and bought some dramamine.

me and eric have never tried that before.

so the lady told us to only take one tablet and if a half hour later

we werent tired 

MAYBE take the other.

(we had two packets with two pills in each packet-

so it seemed like we should take both)

a half hour later we decided we were fine so we took the second.

it was a good day there

lines were short

weather was perfect.

we did all we wanted to then we

had to drive to provo to our hotel

(probably like an hour drive)

we made it probably half way

and we were SO TIRED that we had to pull off

and park in a mall's lot and sleep.

LOL

i thought it was really funny.

wednesday

we went and did the provo canyon zip line.

SO AMAZINGLY FUN!

we went on a zip line before eric went on his mission.

it was soooo much more better then the first time we went.

later that night we went to the desert star theater

and watched

the adam's family home evening.

it was hilarious

and sooo fun

thursday we went to seven peaks

and please be proud of me i went down the big slide

and i mean BIG SLIDE

you think straight down big slide

i was soo scared.

but we had a fun day.

friday we had a pass to get us around 13 different

attractions for free

along with lunch at the lion house pantry.

IT WAS SOOO BLOODY HOT

so it made it hard to do some of the outdoor attractions

we had fun though.

we even got to ride on a paddle boat.

it was so fun to ride around the park's lake

with the ducks.

by the end of friday we were so dang tired

that all we wanted to do was head home.

we had such a fun honeymoon.

and even with our busy agenda

and doing the other things you typically do on a honeymoon

wink a wink wink

we even had time to follow the nba finals

which can i just say PISSED ME OFF

i hate the heat

i hate labron james

but most of all

i hate CHRIS BOSH

with all my stinking heart

i think he looks like a stinking dinosaur.

every time he comes on the tv

the disgusted sound just vomits out of my mouth.

anyways rant over.

just a thought...

i pretty much like this married thing:)

forever and ever amen.

sooo...

i have kind of been prolonging this blog post,

so i could write eloquent words

for my most perfect day ever.

however, this probably wont be so eloquent

but i will try my best to portray the emotions and amazingness of this day.

(since it has been over a month ago... bear with me as im remembering all the details as well)
i remember starting off the morning being really
excited and anxious.
doing my makeup, going to get my hair done, getting all ready for the temple.
(even though in the temple picts, my hair may seem a little flat,
it was actually done lol)
the weather was amazing.
the temple was radiant.

when we got in the temple
the temple workers were amazing.
they treated me like a princess.
then they sent me and eric to the celestial room.
we sat and pondered, whispered, and just enjoyed the specialness of OUR day.
we would keep leaning over to each other
 and keep saying "WE ARE GETTING MaRrIeD TODAY!!!!"

at noon i was
sealed to my best friend for time and all eternity it was
the most special thing that could ever happen to me.

as we walked out the doors of the temple.
it was just overwhelming the love and support we
had from all of our family and friends.
then all of the sudden this little
voice yells
"TY TY! YOU MARRIED!"
jett ran up to me and eric and while i was giving
him a hug
he says in my ear
"you pretty ty ty"

i have the best little ones.
PLUS i added two amazing new ones.

the rest of the afternoon consisted of

pictures,

pictures,

and

more pictures.

everyone was such good sports.

especially megan

she did so good helping me out with the train to my dress

it was really a beautiful day at the temple.

then at three

we headed to our luncheon.

carilyn had planned such a gorgeous lunch

the place was amazing outside

with beautiful gardens of roses and various flowers.

lunch was so unbelievable delicious!

and it was beautiful

BIG  shout out to my mom and carilyn

for making mine and eric's day sooo special!

oh and lets not forget the shout out to my brothers and sisters

thankfully they didnt do anything too awful to our jeep!

on the eighth of june

we had our reception

*so keep the shout out going for my mom and mother in law*

 my burlap and lace

vintage/ elegant/ rustic wedding

(all adjectives that i realize dont go together)

turned out exactly how i pictured

we had the most incredible turn out for our reception

i could not believe all the support we got!

 even three of my old roommates from rexburg showed up!
i tell you what we really are so lucky to have such amazing friends and family!

my awesome aunts and grandma
kept our refreshment table running smoothly

while my uncles and brother in laws ran back and forth
making sure us in the line were well hydrated.

and then there was cake time
:) :) :)

for awhile now i had been planning on smashing the
cake into eric's face, while telling him he
better not dare smash cake into my face so i wouldn't get it
all over my dress...
i had to at least tell him that so i had a chance
to get him too, instead of him coming out squeaky clean
and me covered in cake lol

mission accomplished :)

it was a pretty fun night

at the ol' barn.

and that is it for tonight.

we are so grateful for all the kindness, love and support
shown to us throughout the past few months
we have amazing friends, family and loved ones!

also thank you for putting up with my
5,000 overused adjectives.
i just never ever want to forget how special these days were

so on the 1st of july

my parents celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.

they are pretty great

arent they?
