week 7: happy girl

it was a great week around the gillies house!

we watched some football

 

 

 

 

went on some nice walks

...oh my heck the weather was soo  perfect...

 

 

madyn moved into her crib and started staying in her own room.

she is such a good baby!

she usually only wakes up once a night, sometimes twice.

 

 

 

 

*geeze I love my little bug!*

on Friday Dad, Don and Travis came up to watch Mt View in the state football championship

(unfortunately the weather started getting cold when they got here)

we went to the football game,

then out to eat at Roxie's.

*Roxie's got an A+ from me- it was SOO GOOD*

we then rushed over to the movie theatre

and saw Last Vegas.

*I really liked it- VERY funny*

we then rushed to watch a cowgirls basketball game.

 

 

THEN after the game we went to Chili's to have dessert

and we saw John Stockton having dinner with his daughter that played in the basketball game.

we had a CrAzY busy day running around

but we had SOO much fun!!!

 

 

Saturday they all went to more state championship games

and me and mads stayed home,

they completely wore us out the day before!

I really wasn't feeling too good to be honest

and madyn was such a sweetheart.

she just snuggled with me all day so I was able to get some good rest

and get feeling better.

 

just a thought...

nothing is better then having a happy baby!

week 6

there is absolutely nothing new with us!

me and little miss just took it easy last week.

but seriously can I just brag a little bit about how

freaking CUTE my girl is!

she is my everything!!!

i sure love when she flashes that sweet smile at me

:)

 

 

anyways...

another week older for my girl!

im a pretty proud mama.

 

just a thought...

i LOVE being a mom!



week 5: HaPpY HALLOween!!!

this weekend my parents came down to go

to the big Broncos/ Redskins game in denver

they got here Friday night.

 

Saturday we went to Cheyenne and did some shopping

and then headed out to Centennial and enjoyed a big ol' juicy steak!

YUMMY!!!

 

Sunday they went to the game and we headed off to church.

miss madyn did wonderful at her first week of church!

 

 

Monday morning i woke up to a text from Megan suggesting that

i go home with my mom and dad and spend the week in Lyman.

since i didn't have any appointments it was a perfect week to head home.

 

 

 

austy is such a good cousin.

i love her face in the picture that she is helping put in her binky.

such a sweetheart!

 

Tuesday me and my dad headed down to Utah and

met up with micah and her family and had dinner at a place in Park City

called Billy Blanco's.

such a fun place to eat!

we had dinner under a blue mustang!!!

pretty cool!

 

 

Wednesday i went over to Jamie and James' house and carved pumpkins.

the girls were sure cute and excited about their carvings

 



 

Thursday was HALLOWEEN!!!

miss mads was a strawberry.

we went trick or treating to

great grandma and grandpa Erickson,

potters,

Melissa,

and grandma and grandpa gillies.

and of course mads slept the whole time!

 

 

 

we had a very fun Halloween with the cousins!

 

Friday me and mads headed home!

boy that was a bit of a struggle,

little miss didn't feel very good and had a belly ache...

... it was a very long ride home ...

but we were VERY excited to come home to eric!!

eric has started a CNA class this week.

it's Friday night, and all day Saturday and Sunday.

it will be good for him to start on his working hours for grad school.

but we will miss him on the weekends...

good thing it's only for a month or so!

 

just a thought...

week 4: 1 MONTH OLD!

 

LOOK at my girl!

she's one month old!

she is weighing in at

10 lbs  2 oz

and 21.5 inches long!

i have a growing girl on my hands!!!

 

 

it's so fun watching her grow and develop

at 3 weeks she rolled over for the first time.

we figured it was just a fluke,

but she has been rolling ever since!

she is also really starting to develop her social smile!

man i love when this girl smiles at me

it's the sweetest thing i have ever seen!!!

we took some more newborns this week and had a

Halloween photo shoot with cousin Easton.

 

 

 

 

i love those little sweet bums!

(i know, i know, she will never forgive me when she grows up)

but what kind of mom would i be if

i never embarrassed my girl!?!

 

 

 

just a thought...

don't have one today,

10 minutes trying to think of one just went

by and i give up!
