officially a gillies.

well it's official

i went to the dmv

and finally changed my name on my licence.

i know... i know it's about time.

 

i have to admit that's a little sad for me though.

ill be the first to admit that im not to close with the erickson side of the family

but i was always proud to have the last name erickson

because of my dad.

he really is one of the best guys around.

he is one of the greatest examples i know.

always there when i need him.

always willing to help others no matter what time of night.
 

 

 

we have a lot of great memories together.

denver games and our

awfully long walks and sooo many stairs.

hiking around thunderbolt singing songs.

fourwheeling.

buying my first jeep together.

roadtrips in the wrecker belting keith urban.

concerts.

he's the best.

 

 

 

so after waiting around there for about 2 hours

we left with my temporary licence

that says

kylie E gillies.
glade erickson loved me first
and then eric gillies
so i only see it fitting to be
kylie erickson gillies
 cuz im never letting that erickson part of me go.
 

 

just a thought...

us girls are more then lucky to have his as a dad

company :)

this last weekend

i was soooo fortunate to have some company.

megs, mom, paysers, and aust

came down.

they came friday afternoon and left monday afternoon.

eric had gone hunting down in lyman

so for a few days it was just us relaxing.

we got some good moving time in,

toes painted,

ate some good food,

walked around campus,

and just loved hanging out together.

 

i regret not having any pictures from this

because i had soo much fun with them and my little ones.

i tell you what my Heavenly Father sure has

sent us some special spirits to us.

i look back at when my sisters didnt have any kids

and i dont have any idea what we did without them.

they are all so special.

 

just a thought...

never turn on lion king on the main tv with

aust around...

you will watch it on repeat FOREVER

good thing i love her

huntin season. and valley fun.

im going to tell ya something....

i kinda like hunting season.

silly... i know... but it is sooo true.

me and eric headed to the valley for a back to back weekends

i really enjoy going to the valley

so we can be with our families.

eric drew out for a moose this season.
so we are hoping and praying for a BIGGin
still nothing.
but he's still got some time.

the first weekend we went down,
melissa and molly were in the valley too.
i tell you what
i sure love that little molly girl.
she is sure something special to me.
( :/ forgot the camera that weekend)
 

and then the last time we went

we ended up having an end of summer party.

topped off with a bounce house, a ball pit, popcorn, corn dogs,

snow cones and GREAT company.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

later that night we ended up getting a movie projector and

we all watched Secondhand Lions outside.

(it was FrEeZiNg)

but soooo fun

tyson and tiffany came and joined us as well

it was really fun being with them too

i have the best in laws,
sisters, nieces and nephews,
parents and husband.
i really am such a lucky and blessed girl.
