sunday we woke up to lots and lots of snow!
i got up bright and early... 5 am to be exact.
i wanted to get breakfast made, lunch in the crock pot,
showered, packed up and get all ready for ward council at 7:30.
i had such a productive morning. i was moving super good
and i was all ready and it wasnt even 6:30 yet.
me and eric decided the night before that i could just take the liberty
to church then come home and pick them up for church...
but since i had extra time. i went out and shoveled the walk and driveway
and got the wrangler all started and ready to take.
by the time i got done it was almost 7 and i took a look at my phone to see
that there was a no unnecessary travel restriction within city limits...
church had been cancelled....
any normal sunday i would just be able to head back to bed...
but i was already up and going...
i was soooo annoyed!
eric and madyn were able to sleep in and catch up on some
much needed rest.
we spent the rest of the day lounging around and being lazy.
it felt soooo nice!
monday after we watched colter and did some visiting teaching me and
mads took off to the valley.
we had a nice drive home and luckily had dry roads the whole way.
it was so weird pulling in to lyman with no snow
after leaving laramie with more then a foot.
madyn was thrilled to be at grandmas
and to see all the family.
tuesday i had to prep for my colonoscopy.
i woke up hungry and super nauseated... so i knew i was in for a long day.
me and mads spent most of the day down at the shop
trying to get dad's computers all in order.
but for some reason i just wasnt having any luck.
ugh! was super frustrated.
so we took a break and went and saw tony and carilyn over at their offices.
she's so funny and pretty outgoing to everyone at the district office.
who would have thought i would have such a sociable child.
after i went back home so i could start my prep...
and all madyn wanted was "play with grandma carilyn!"
so she headed over to grandmas while i prepped.
she had lots of fun. grandma is too good to her.

a little while later mom made it home and then megan stopped by
to visit. my night went by pretty fast.
and i was able to get all my drink down before midnight.
i swear i never feel more accomplished as when i finish all that drink.
wednesday we headed to salt lake to the
huntsman center to have my colonoscopy.
everything went smoothly and i had great nurses with me.
everything is healing great from surgery so it was nice leaving with good news.
dad and mom had some errands to run around the city so i passed out in the back seat
till we could go out to eat.
dad let me pick where we had lunch so of course i picked JOES!
the special was all you can eat snow crab... so me and dad took full advantage!
it was soooooo good!
then we took off to target to do my traditional retail therapy after a doctors appointment.
dad limited my time so i was running around like crazy.
after we headed home and i went and picked up madyn and all the cousins.
it was such a nice day out we took full advantage being
in the sun when we got home.

thursday we slept in around noon. i tell you we were exhausted.
all that medical crap sure wears me out.
me and mads kinda had an off day.
i was super tired but needed to get stuff done,
and she was super cranky.
so as soon as we got in the car and off to run some errands
madyn passed out in the car.
soooo we really didnt get much done.
that afternoon we wanted to go on a walk with mom
when she was done with school back over to urie.
we got about half way down maxfield lane and i got super sick
and had to turn around.
so after taking a pit stop at the hysells... maycie came with us back home.
we also stopped by the meeks house and picked up those kiddos.
we had a good night with everyone.
madyn was sure loving playing with jamie.
those two were hilarious together.
friday i went out and took baptism pictures of ryla bug
and some individual cousin pictures.
i think they turned out pretty good.
these are my favorites...

the rest of the way home madyn was soooo good.
she never fell asleep, but she did watch snow white and thought
it was hilarious!
when we got home madyn was a little funny around eric
and wouldn't let him do anything.
but she quickly warmed back up to him.
we were so happy to be back home with him.
