number seven!

it was a nice three day weekend at the gillies house!
Eric enjoyed going hunting Monday and I enjoyed being home with the kiddos.
Tuesday my new frames came in and this happened...

my normally super smiley baby HATES when I put them on.
he cries every time!
talk about a little disheartening!
Wednesday was a bit of a crazy day.
it was prep day for my colonoscopy on Thursday.
this new doctor was having me try a new... well new to me... prep drink.
and let me tell you it made ALL the difference!
it was the best/ easiest prep that I have ever done!
I guess sevens the charm!
so like I said Thursday we headed to Cheyenne for my seventh colonoscopy.
all went fairly well.
I was soooo tired though so we ate and then headed back home.
we had already hit up target before my appointment so I was ok to get out of Cheyenne.
also can we please note, because I think it is a first, we left target with out making a purchase.
I was actually pretty proud of myself!
Saturday Eric went hunting again and it was time for me to finish tackling my
redoing the rooms project.
our house has been livable... but everything has been hidden in the guest room
with the door shut for the past week so it felt good to get everything put away
and feeling back to normal.
that evening I had to help out with our stake young men and young women
etiquette dinner.
I seriously did dishes from about 6:30-10:30 that night
when I finally decided it was time to bail.
I had ty with me and I needed him to get to bed.
but they had almost 100 youth there and they were served dinner on real
china and had all the fancy forks, knives, bread and butter plates,
soup and salad bowls. THE WORKS!
it was a busy night.
but all in all a good night.

back to preschool!

well Sunday it was time to head back home!
mads was sooo excited to see her dad.
she really missed him.... well we all did to be honest ;)
monday mads started back up at head start!

she has been BEGGING to go back to school ever since summer started.
but the night before she started having some anxiety going back.
I think a lot of it was that she was getting new teachers.
but as soon as she got there she was back in her element and happy as ever.
that morning me and Eric had eye doctor appointments.
it's so nice having insurance ;)
and to my dismay the lasik in one of my eyes has gone bad....
so they are constantly trying to correct each other and even out.
I have been super headachy and dizzy lately and I hope that correcting this
with glasses will help out with that.
Eric then had his first dentist appointment since we have been married...
did I mention how nice it is to have insurance.
and he didnt have any cavities...
I was pretty impressed!
I hope this doesn't come off wrong... because I love and adore my sweet madyn...
but it is nice having her back to school so that me and the little mr
can have a little one on one time together!

I adore him and that big smile!
Wednesday I had young women's...
and when I was leaving I totally blew a red light and got hit.
I was devastated.
I couldn't believe that I did that.
I seriously didn't realize that it was red. it did not register to me that it was red at all.
in fact after we wrecked I ran out to the other side of the car to get ty out
and asked the other lady what happened...
assuming it was her fault, when she told me that I ran the light.
I was so upset... bawling.
the ambulance came and they took ty in to get him all checked out.
he was so oblivious to it all.
he was smiles all around.
seriously car seats are amazing.
it hit on his side right where he was sitting and he was totally fine.
when it happened he let out this like scream that I swear will haunt me forever.
but I think it just scared him. he was perfect.
talk about tender mercies.
thankfully Tyson and Cortney came over to the house to watch mads
so that Eric could come pick us up.
I was so glad that she wasn't with me.
little miss doesn't forget things very easily.

our vehicle doesn't look near as bad as theirs did...
I guess the liberty was a tough ol bird.
I did feel bad for them...
they hadn't even had their car for 24 hours...
it was brand new to them.

Thursday was still hard. very emotional. the guilt was running strong
and my body HURT!
we really were blessed that we walked away fine.
the only thing wrong was I had a nasty bruise on the back of my arm
and then bruises across my chest from my seat belt.
that night I had an open house with a few other merchandisers for scentsy and lularoe.
I really wasn't feeling up to going but knew it would be good for my business.
and it did help me get my mind off of everything going on.
the nice thing was that on Friday Abby had a cross country meet in rawlins.
so mom, dad, and Austyn went and watched her meet and then towed down
one of their vehicles so we could use that until we found us a new one.
he also towed back the wrangler since that has been out of commission since June.
that evening mom treated us girls to pedicures.
and let me tell you-
madyn was in hog heaven!
she was so cute with how excited and happy she was.
it tickled me.

it was some awesome pampering after the week that we had!
Saturday morning they took off back home.
Eric was hunting so I was fully prepared to have a lazy day...
but that changed fairly quickly when I decided it was time to redo furniture arrangements.
it was time to get the crib up and get ty out of our room...
as well as his sister.
we were hoping that if we put them in the same room together
then she would be more willing to move out of our room.
and as luck would have it- it worked!

I bet you can guess that we were singing praises of hallelujah in our house that night!
it's been a long time coming that is for sure!

total eclipse of the heart

Sunday after church me and the kids took off for Lyman.
we were going down for the week!
Monday and Tuesday I babysat all the kids since mom and megan
were back at school.
it was a busy couple of days but it was a blast.
I sure love all those kids!
monday was the solar eclipse and even though the bridger valley wasn't in the
line of totality it was pretty awesome.
we had like 95+% and it was so cool to see it get dim, have the temp
drop, and see how the shadows changed.
it was eerie but so cool.
it was also fun because mom, Megan and dad came home to watch it with me and the kids.

after the big fuss of the eclipse was over Jessie came over
to moms and we visited for hours on end.
it was fun being able to catch up with each other.
I love how good the cousins play together... it sure makes the babysitting
go a lot more smoothly.
the older girls loved having ty around to play as their little baby.
they sure took good care of him :)

Wednesday I babysat laity bug since everyone else went back to school.
so we decided to go see mom and megs at school.
we got there just in time for lunch!
after we went and worked at the shop for the rest of the night.
Thursday after spending the afternoon at the shop with dad
we headed to heber for the next few days.
Friday the Coleman girls and me and the kids went to provo in the morning to
grab a few last minute things for our pop up boutique at Micah's that evening.
I would definitely say that the party ended up being a success.

also the big news for Friday was that ty turned 3 months old!
my sweet baby it getting too big if I do say so myself!

I sure do adore that smiley little man!
Saturday morning we got up and all went out to eat breakfast.
after we finished eating we went out and took Jetty's baptism pictures.
I love how they turned out! I sure think he is a handsome man!

after we finished up with his pictures
it was time to head back to the valley.
when we got into town we went out and took the Hysell family pictures.

when we finished up taking pictures we went back to mom and dads
and all had dinner together.
I sure love being with all the family!
and the big news of the week was that dad bought a bus.
yep you read that right, a bus!
so we all, along with a few of the neighbor kids, went out for ride!

I got to tell you. I kinda like these people that I am blessed to call family!
