have yourself a very merry christmas....

it's CHRISTMAS WEEK!!!
 on monday madyn turned 15 months!!!

15 months of madyn!!!

she has 4 top teeth and 3 bottom teeth.

and two more coming through on the top.

mad's is OBSESSED with bath time!

she takes her bath right after dinner. after dinner she heads straight to the bathroom.

she loves to snack on cheerios, goldfish, and ritz.

she loves oreos, but has to con her dad into giving her those.

she loves pizza, yogurt, and milk.

she loves to watch robin hood and little mermaid.

she sings along to the songs in little mermaid, it's sooo cute.

she loves all types of music.

i think her favorite part of church is the music, she loves to lead.

madyn loves sledding!

we bought her a new sled this winter and when she's cranky 

we just pull her around the house.

mad's favorite books are I Love My Shoes, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, and Little Blue Truck.

she loves to take toys out of boxes and then put them away again.

she's our little cleaner, she takes off my socks and acts like she is dusting the furniture.

Tuesday we headed down to Heber for the Cliften Christmas Party!

on Chirstmas Eve we went and pulled out ol Holly Honda!
not sure how much the gillies girls enjoyed it lol.

later that evening we went to mom and dad's for dinner and our little party.

we had Delicious prime rib :)

my family knows how to cook, y'all! 

and of course madyn needed a taste of everyones dessert lol.

later that night we headed back to the gillies' house, had a bath and turned in for the night.

CHRISTMAS MORNING!
we woke up to a very sick eric.... poor guy had a very nasty flu bug.
(that explains his cranky looks in these pictures lol)

i think the kiddos really enjoyed opening their presents.

we then were able to skype with tyson.

it was SOO good to see him!

we had a great surprise on Christmas, it SNOWED!!!

so we headed out the next day to do a little sledding. 

we even got out to the gym to let out some energy!

we had such a great christmas week!

even though eric's flu was passed around the whole gillies house!

start of the vacay!

this week madyn spent most of her time bundled up and sledding.

this girl LOVES her sled.

we bought her one last week and when she gets

cranky we just pull her around the house.

madyn has officially found her favorite cookie.

boy does this girl love oreos!

and i am sooo in love with that messy little face!

this week was FINALS week!!!

we have been so excited for this semester to end.

we had a few appointments to go to including on with our new bishop...

i was called to be a sunbeam teacher...

gotta tell ya, i was kinda dreading this one, but hopefully it will all be ok.

when we got out to the car eric says to me, well at least you got an easy calling...

EASY CALLING?!?!?

boy.... little does he know lol.

we also had a little change in our plans for the break...

my cousin Seth Potter passed away after he had been in a coma for a 

motorcycle accident.

we took off to the valley about 3 days earlier then we had originally

planned so we could attend the funeral.

geeze can i just say i think after his funeral i think it made

EVERYONE want to be a little better.

he was such a great, kind, and charitable guy and such an amazing example to all.

he will for sure be missed.
