3 day weekend!

Sunday was Father's Day!

we are pretty blessed to have Eric in our lives.

he is the best dad to our children!

we took our day pretty easy.

and I even made chicken parm for the first time,

I was pretty proud of myself... because it was pretty delicious.

Monday I took mads and ty over to the wading pool at Washington park.

Eric came and met up with us when he got off of work

madyn had a fun time, we spent 3 whole hours there!

luckily ty slept the whole time.

also can we just take a minute to appreciate what a sweet boy I have.

he is seriously the most mellow little stink...

I mean look at all his little sister puts him through lol.

and sadly I don't get it ALL on camera!

Friday Eric had the day off of work.

so we decided to pack up our things and try fishing in some little lakes around happy jack

the first place we ended up we didn't have any luck.

after awhile of trying we decided to go over to curt gowdy so Eric could shoot his bow.

madyn had so much fun watching him and going to help him get his arrows.

after we went and let mads play at the little park at curt gowdy.

about that time I started to not feel good so while I tried to get a nap in

madyn and Eric went and tried to fish in some beaver ponds.

after a good little cat nap I got out of the jeep so I could change Ty's bum

when I started hearing some branches crack.

so I walked back a little ways and got to see this nice looking moose!

Saturday we got up and decided to head over to walden.

Eric has read about some sand dunes over there that we wanted to go check out.

madyn had a blast playing in the sand!

Eric told her that he was going to burry her in the sand 

and she said- ok just don't burry my face!

lol I love her!

after we played for a little while we decided to take a little drive over 

to Rocky Mountain national park since we were fairly close to Grand Lake.

with the kids past out in the back seat we had a very nice drive over there.

as soon as we got in the park we started seeing animals left and right.

it was a beautiful evening.

after we made our way through the park we headed over to Fort Collins

to get some dinner before we went back home.

we got back pretty late but it was SO worth it.

we had the best day :)

Sunday morning we got up and going and took the Coleman family over to vedauwoo.
we had fun walking around and climbing on the rocks.

we spent a little while there exploring before we headed back home for lunch.
after we ate we went over to huck finn to do some fishing with the kiddos.
they were catching those little suckers left and right!

after an afternoon of fishing and playing at the park we headed back home

and watched some movies.

it was madyn's first time watching trolls and she has been obsessed ever since!

monday we got up and said our farewells to our company.

I haven't been sleeping so well lately and I had a really bad headache so 

we decided to all head back to bed.

when we got back up for the day I still wasn't feeling so good.

when I got in the shower that is when I got really sick...

I was super nauseous and dizzy

I felt like I had the flu.

my very sweet and wonderful visiting teacher came and got madyn

while I headed to the doctor.

it still amazes me how hard a UTI can knock me down.

I was pretty much out of commission for the rest of the day.

at least madyn kept me entertained the rest of the day...

I can't turn my back on her for a minute without her doing something to her poor brother.

I swear he is going to be a tough little one!

Thursday Eric had the day off so we decided to take a trip up to rob roy
and go fishing!

we had a pretty good ride up- we saw a little bit of wildlife.

a fox and a cow and calf moose.

we had a pretty fun day fishing even though it was really windy.

we had a pretty successful day fishing even with that crazy wind!

it was my fist time using my new pole...

and I LOVE it!

when we got back into town we went for a walk over to undine park

and let madyn swing for a little bit.

it was seriously the best day.
